I understand fully our disappointment but we had opportunities and didn't take them. The game was played by two sides desperate to finish on wins and to send out a number of retirements out on good notes. Not sure what the penalty is for umpires who do not turn up, but in a close game fatigue...

Re: D4 Section Ammos I remember that day well, was coaching in the Yarra Valley Mountain District league, reserves was called off due to lack of numbers after half time (hyperthermia to a number of players), and seniors was colder, it rained and even a boundary umpire got hyperthermia. Manny
