Yes it was like that. I even saw magic Edwards over-run it.
It seemed that what hurt most in the end was the in-game injury toll (Goody, Roo, Stephens, Johncock, Thompson). Especially to Goody which would have seriously mucked up our rotations leaving the middies stuffed.
Can't expect...
Just_maybe... you insult me in general just because you have a different view on Ayersy ?
Look at your first quote, look then at you second quote and then in the mirror...
Thanks for the personal insult... being incorrect I can accept, stupid insults from you are, well, stupid, especially to a fellow crows fan.
I have just come to the conslusion that I consider you and your views to be worthless. Get a life, low-life.
S'OK I forgive you. Cease playing with me  might be the best option. Seeing how your memory's not the best and your eyes might be suffering, here's the items you omitted to answer which you said you addressed but you didn't :-
Have fun, just. Cmo'n the crows. You really aren't Ayersy...
No need, not fussed there. Am more fussed about overblowing of something that wasn't great into something that "was". How about addressing the points raised instead of playing cards (age card, isolation card, stats card) ... you're playing with me, so to speak.
And, by definition, since he's...
Oh dear just_maybe... caught out by "naturally" when you said different ? Calling people names... and "stupid"...
As it happens I did watch things and there was an odd blip... are you disputing that our team was DOMINANT in the last 2 years by comparison ? Silly you, quoting a blip as an...
Ha ha ha ... nobody ? You, being "everyone else" ? I know a few outside this forum that agree, so ... so much for your "nobody"...
and yes they were easybeats in that year in particular.
Your aren't Ayersy are you ? or a relative ?
Sorry, you missed the other questions ... again.
the opposite, too old to remember. Were the crows absolutely dominant all year and to what level finals did they get by comparison ? Ayers was still a strategy-less boofhead regardless. Ayers > Shaw maybe but not much else ?
Craigy picked up an easybeat team, shook them up, gave them...
Why didn't Massie get in ? He was in our winning team when we were dominant, ie when the backbone kept us going... ordinary, unspectacular, but we kept winning handsomely
Umm, well, tell me our injury run the last 2 1/2 years has been good. Also tell me that words at the time weren't "we haven't the right cattle". Please, how substantially has our list changed from easybeats to becoming ABSOLUTELY DOMINANT in the next 2 years ? The crows were GREAT. Ayers...
Craigy has been great for us. when he took over we were easy-beats. Then for the next 2 years we absolutely DOMINATED the competition. Unlucky not to be premiers.
Ayers *****ing off during the season wasn't a sign of full character.
I hope so. I like Ken.
Well... I think you'll find it's a game plan to have leading players down the ground... most good sides have them. Sarge is terrific at it if that's what he is. Kenny may do it however I think his value given his style may be more as the contested marker we've been...
Learn to spell 1st :) Confidence is fine, didn't help for last week against the bottom side. I too think we're in trouble against a top side this year this week. Doesn't mean I don't go nor hope for the best.
How do you do your tipping ?
What's her number ?
We're being killed with contested marks inside 50, so let's see if Ken can be the goods to offset comparatively limited mobility.
It'd also help if there were other method beside bomb it in big... like middies getting a bit closer and having a kick like we used to. I...
NO he wasn't. Ptthh. :p No real game plan, no strategies, no detailed coaching, poor communicator, may be 20th hand info from insiders ? Anyone know ?
If you recall, at the time NC came aboard people and media said we had a list of easybeats (taken overall) - at which Craigy got them to...
The only valid reason for leaving early is "being on a promise". :) Broken limbs, death, etc unacceptably weak excuses. Hope you didn't spill your chardonnay. :thumbsd:
Trotted out on the field at westies one day as he addressed the players at 3/4 time... lots of "F"s as I recall as the gist of the gee-up... can picture him as bemused :)
Enlighten me oh master Southerntakeover, for I have not your brilliance in seeing how't may be done. Do not banish me to the darkness of the port. Unless you meant Drummond, he/she can look after his/herself :)
Oh, so you were down toward the rear then ? How did our nice boys look seated ? They were very sombre and avoided eye contact as they entered from the front... must have got one hell of a rocket post-game, or were embarrassed at the 2nd Q.
