Good pick.
Is a player who can play both up forward which is a massive plus for all teams. I see him going pick 47/48 to St Kilda because he trained with them and his dad played a few matches for them.
He is a scholarship holder at Scotch, played 1 or 2 practise games before doing his knee.
My Thoughts:
Pick 1: Jack Watts-- we need a target up forward, miller has had the whole year and been good but if we are making a premiership winning side miller would be the 2nd or third tall.
Pick 17: Lewis Johnson--- He is a goal kicking forward probably can be compared to fev (abit early...
Not sure about how we are going to kick bags of goals, maybe it will be good if the rain stay although that does destroy the footy. I reckon we give stef the job on Mooney, because hell have speed and agility to match and beat him, also means that he will be up the ground more so less pressure...
If we can take Warnock in the PSD we will have a tap ruckman who is close to being a number one ruckmen. The other advantage of Watts is that he is bottom age so he is beating players who are older and strongerthan him.
After watching the game last night Hansen has to be a very late 2nd or 3rd he was hopeless. So was Braun Fletcher and Selwood all was crap. Armstrong is too old and doesnt kick enough goals when he has a chance so he is worthless. Staker has value cause of his size from watching he was going...
VIC METRO has continued its unbeaten record in round three of the NAB U18 Championships with a commanding 53-point win over South Australia at Adelaide Oval.
The Victorians led by just 13 points at quarter time, but set up the well deserved win with a five-goal-to-one second term.
South...
I think that the whole St Kilda team will give it to him, hes stupid but not that stupid to do it again, saying that getting him angry will probably make him play well
Personally i want to see Melbourne draft Watts with our first pick. Especially if we can land Warnock in the Pre Season draft. Its our forward line that needs the most improvement now
Melbourne: JAMAR, CHRIS JOHNSON, ISAAC WEETRA, JACE BODE, NATHAN CARROLL, BEN HOLLAND, ADEM YZE, COLIN SYLVIA
Im not sure if any still have contracts after this year definately a few there that are very optimistic but Chris johnson and sylvia definately would attract some attention
I cant see us playing 5 talls down back. Im hoping Caroll does not play but have a feeling he will on rocca just because of size. Wouldnt mind seeing rivers and bate as our chf line with pj and dunn out of the square
You could get his name right firstly. James Strauss!!!!!!!!. He will go definately top 50 but was dissapointing for Vic Metro. Dominated early in school footy i heard, but needs to step up in state games. Most clubs will have a look because he is a tall running midfielder. Ive played against in...
He is above the leauge average in most things including effective possestion, hes winning our rebounds from 50 and above in tackles, he isnt doing well enough sticking to his man though
They are building a stadium in China for either next year or the year after for a NAB Cup game. I think we need to make sure that we are playing in that.

What does everyone think of James Strauss.
Played very well against Haliebury in the APS. He longs to be a very promising player, who would be 2nd or 3rd round.
thoughts?
It will be interesting to see the finish of the comp. If Melbourne finish on the bottom Freo could lose one of these for free. Im hoping Melbourne have a look at all 3.
