Really hope we end up keeping this pick.
My guess is that if Kako isn't bid on by pick 11 we trade Dees FF to Richmond.
Tigers should to swap two of their first 7 picks to the 2025 draft. I just hope we don't add a future 3rd as well.
Membership costs going up was expected but not as much as what they did.
I think we will have a drop off of our 2024 numbers which is a worry.
I'll be renewing but not feeling as excited as previous years.
Ridley is our most important player after Merrett. Showed his class all night.
We are really missing Draper. Our centre work has fallen away since his injury. The last two games show me that we don't bat as deep as we hoped.
Missing Draper, Parish, Hobbs, Duursma, Jones from our best 22. Cox...
IMO we have 5 best 22 out for this game.
(Rids, Parish, Hobbs, Shiel & Draper). That is a lot & will make a huge difference. Rids is close to our most important player.
On the other sides Hawks are missing 3/4 players but we are missing more talent.
We should win and it should be a...
We had money to spend and have added players who should increase the potential best 22. Most important point is that we have kept our first round selection as the club needs to continue to hit the draft.
Got the interstate win
No injuries
We did what we had to do. Can't complain.
Exciting to see some players coming back into the side over the next two weeks.
Yep
Some players come back from concussion fine and it takes a couple of weeks for others.
Zerrett and Rids seem to take a bit to get their confidence back. Hope there is no broken jaw.
I think they have changed their approach for the $30 vouchers & only give them out to milestone 10 year members. This was from 2022 membership info (not 100% sure as this doesn't show the non-milestone information - All i know if i haven't received a voucher yet - has anyone???)
Our FB plays 10 metres in front. If there is a quick kick they can intercept. Lav does it really well.
On a quick break they get out the back.
It happens. If you want the Def to play behind we'll get hurt more in transition than we do now.
Well at least there was effort this round.
We kick straight at goals, land a couple of extra handball chains and we win that. Perkins was wonderful and I really like having Durham back in the side.
Take out the positives.
KPP players are a lot more valuable BUT are more hit & miss in the draft.
Injury aside, you are guaranteed a gun midfield player in the top three. The safe move was Phillips but the player with the more upside is McDonald.
Also, as OP stated, Phillips is player you can find easier through...
Hawks for me. New coach may me a slow start as they adjust. Normally bottom six teams have a couple of surprise wins in the first four rounds & if they miss one of them they will be playing catch up the whole season.
Pies have a number of young players coming through from the fire sale year...
Lucked out being a milestone year in 2022 so i got all the merch in the mail.
The club called me on Monday and assisted in upgrading my kids/wife membership to a family one. Works out roughly the same price but they all get access to more games. Very happy with the outcome.
Playing at the G will benefit us more.
Counter is that we again have lost home ground advantage. Flying the day before, same time as the Swans without fans means that we will in the same position.
Really enjoying the new back six.
Great to see Lav getting 10 games in a row. Always had talent just couldn't get a consistent run at it.
We are a chance against the Eagles.
The more i think about it the more it make sense. Just imagine he decides to leave now - goes to the Tigers and sites 'chasing a flag' again... then Pies win in 2021... omg. the story arc there.
