Geel In: F1 (Ess) + F2 (Ess)
Geel Out: J.Clark + F1 + F4

Freo in: J.Clark
Freo out: R.Lobb

GWS in: Lobb
GWS out: I.Hill

Ess In: I.Hill + F1 (Geel) + F4 (Geel)
Ess Out: F1 + F2

Who says no?

Grill me
Freo would probably be wanting a bit more compensation for Lobb. Maybe if gws threw in a F3 to Freo, it could be enough. I think essentially giving a future second for hill would be a bit much. Maybe if we gave Geelong a F4, and got a F3 in return it could be sufficient.

Where is Rachele projected to go? I'd rather we drafted him, or tried to upgrade our first rounder in an attempt to get him, than take Stengle or trade for Hill.

Hmm. Twomey has Rachele going at 8, eDPS has him at 18 and Knightmare has him at 16. Interesting.

This trade period needs more Jackets. Utter boredom without the great man.

But in all seriousness; I do like Bobby Hill. He'd look good alongside Walla, Snelling and the Davey Boys.

Yeah I think it makes sense.

I also think McCartney can go eat big floppy donkey dicks, and I'd rather pass than listen to that whining shithead complain about how unfair life is because of the last two times he thought he was just gonna 'jump in the ring with Ali cause he thought he could box' and now has a perma blow up donut attached to his chair in whatever bum**** nowhere place GWS calls home.

You know what a better response would have been?

"Ah sh*t, yeah maybe I was wrong about him on the late goals thing"

Okay how about simply putting it as
“Hill has several games where he has minimal impact”

Any complaints with that?

Apparently WA sides keen, maybe that's why Twomey has him at 8

Bit of a suprise, might mean I have to eat humble pie with MJ being available at our pick TheGrizz or ant555 can't remember which one it was

In what world is Hill worth a pick inside 50?

People still have this bogus idea that not getting a game at GWS means they are going ok.

The sooner people wake up to the players they ship
Our aren’t worth what they’re asking the more accountable they will
Become.

If it's (as being reported).... my previous take on him being traded for a second rounder may not be needed as Hill going looks like a minor salary cap dump so GWS can get Lobb in. If that's the case, surely a third rounder (maybe another pick with that too - future 2022 fourth) gets it done.

Drafted in the second round, but hasn't done much to warrant that same value I'm now putting together. Dodoro will make the bargain.

Apparently we’re in the box seat, if GWS are willing to do a solid like they did with Finlayson then great, could probably swing it for some kind of exchange of 3rd rounders given we have 2 this year and they have 2 next year, if they want to keep him against his will then it gets ugly and I sincerely hope we don’t overpay.

He’s not even a crumbing forward, which is what we’re after, skills and wheels to burn though, can never have enough of that.

F2 + 51
Hill + F3

I could come around to that

I wouldn't hold your breath on that. McCartney is too sensitive when it comes to Dodoro. He'll have a cry about it.

Would think so too, especially given how relatively inactive we've been on the trade front - this was self-imposed though, given what Mahony said the other day about just wanting to better our draft hand. Given we're in the market for a small forward too, I think this would certainly be the number one magnet for the next three days next week for Dodoro and co to see if they can pull off. I know Dodoro's and McCartney's relationship has been frosty in the past, but I don't think this one is as complicated (even if Hill is contracted) as the Shiel & Caldwell deals of the past.
