After a few minutes deliberation, I have decided to change my username from the boring, outdated Blues2001 to the new and exciting "The Spornstar".
The Spornstar is named after Carlton youngster Trent Sporn, who like my username, hopefully has a big future ahead.
So I am now The Spornstar...
I want to get rid of Blues2001 because it is boring, it's in the past and I hate it.
I tried to register under B2K2 (as in a nifty way of saying Blues2002) but that isn't working at the moment for some unknown reason (perhaps because our 2002 season isn't working?)
Can anyone suggest a...
That's fine. However, a lot of people tend to think that you shouldn't be reported for attempting to trip/strike etc. when the intention was clearly there . I disagree with this completely....if the intention is there and it was only luck that the strike/trip didn't happen then you have a case...
Hopefully Trent Sporn will be a contender for a spot in this (albeit fantasy) side soon. He was the only good thing to come out of Saturday's game. Do you South Aussies know much about the Spornstar?
Let me get this right.....the Luff is when you are playing quite well until you do something just ridiculous/terrible/bewildering? It's not for having a generally shocking game(especially relative to ability)?
If that's the case then it ain't Matty Allan - he was shocking from start to...
Actually it is very annoying to read. But I can't do much about it.
Whitnall was actually one of our best on Saturday. It wasn't his fault that we got done so badly, though he could have kicked straighter.
Not no.37 - that's Trent Hotton. The player you are thinking of is Simon Wiggins. I agree with what you wrote, the position he made was excellent, but he has to take the mark and stay on his feet! He'll be a good player one day though.
Blame the coaching staff for putting him on Hall, or the recruiting staff for not having got a good tall defender to replace SOS. Not Manton's fault he is being played against players twice his size.
Allan was the most insipid player performance from the most insipid team performance of the...
No. I am tipping the bombers at this stage.
I remember when we were at this exact position going into round 3 1996 and we only had to beat lowly Freo to make it 19 straight. We ended up getting thrashed and were insipid that day - I had marked it down as another win on our road to breaking...
Re: Re: Victorian Journos show how credible they are..
And he later changed that to Collingwood midway through the year, saying "Have we ignored the biggest challenger to Essendon?" - the pies hardly won a game after that.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Victorian Journos show how credible they are..
Actually, the Kangaroos are the oldest in the comp.
If Bradley had left and been replaced by a draftee, our average age would have dropped by so much that we would have been about the 6th oldest list.
Better now thanks. Your first post was very ordinary though......Lappin will be **** for you guys this year, Whitnall is just fat etc. - not good. I'll give you a second chance now that you've showed that you are serious and not just trolling.
There you go. 17 years and still going (I don't want to think about the possiblity of being beaten by 100+ in the very near future) - I see we've only been beaten by 100+ four times in our history, I would guess that's the best of all the Victorian clubs (sorry, I have to hang my hat on...
That was an excellent post by DCFC - why not talk about it rather than use the standard "Hawthorn whingers" line?
BTW DCFC, I have become frustrated with this close-up obsession also. I want to see the next contest but am seeing less and less of it. And yes, behind the goal shots when a...
I was wondering the same about Carlton actually. Paul might be able to tell me, but I don't think we have lost by more than 100 since 1983 against North Melbourne........anyone know the answer?
