    Premiership Memorabilia

Picked up the Blu-ray Bulldogs Premiership disk from JB this afternoon ($34.95) also had the AFL Classic WB 6 disk DVD from there ($34.98). Now have to wait for the Victory Pack, I'll be doubling up on the GF, but I want the higher quality where I can get it.

    Premiership Memorabilia

I can't find any evidence of a blu-ray version only dvd. The finals were broadcast in 1080, so why is blu-ray invisible?

    Premiership Memorabilia

Will be getting the Victory Pack regardless, but it is sad that we seem to be stuck in HD quality when FHD is now being challenged by UHD! Even my home movies are on Blu-ray these days and you can see the difference when compared to bought DVD movies

News Days Since Last Bulldogs Premiership

Day 18 is a very sad day  It is the first day there has not been an explicit Bulldogs article in the HeraldSun (although we did get a small mention in the trading outcomes. So not a complete loss:thumbsu:

    Review vs Adelaide autopsy thread

Despite the disappointing result, which could have gone either way, it was one of the best football games I have witnessed in 60 odd years. Composure going into attack was missing on too many occasions and our defence got caught out too often in the first half. All fixable. The energy in the...

    Review vs Adelaide Crows

Well if Ayce keeps going as he did yesterday he will be able to give up that job advertising Coles Mastercard on TV, I think his rucking is better than his singing on the advert anyway. But seriously, in all the games I've seen Ayce play at VFL and AFL level he has looked more like an old...

    Changes vs The Crows

None of Redpath, Campbell or Roberts knocked down the door yesterday, we have a problem. Assuming team match ups call for a tall next we I would roll the dice one more time with Cordy. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Review Autopsy vs Hawthorn

Totally agree with your comments, especially after watch Redpath yesterday. But if Redpath lost 4 or 5 Kgs he might gain a bit of speed and flexibility, he is just too big in the body atm

Official Club Stuff New Western Bulldogs Chief Executive Officer - David Stevenson

NSW is in southern Australia (being further south than South Australia). Do you include NRL administration in this?

Opinion Our Countdown Song - ie Port's Never Tear Us Apart

I have, on and off over the years, had the last 64 seconds of The Beatles Hey Bulldog as my ringtone, the crowd response is simply "hey bulldog" and a wolf call. High charged, simple and effective.

News Bob Murphy named Next WB Captain

Great choice for the times. Not aware of the machinations that lead to Ryan Griffen last year but suspect (not for the obvious reasons) that Bob should have been selected/stepped forward then but the mindset around the club was pushing too hard. Congratulations Bob, go for it!

Opinion Has the year been a success?

Why should we feel ashamed after the chest beating of Collingwood (and others) about their drawing power, and therefore their right to "the big games" they also fell flat on their face when presented with Sunday afternoon opportunities. The reality is that it is necessary to spread games out...

Analysis WB and the Struggle for Equalisation

The problem for the AFL is that it may be caught in the middle, neither one nor the other, between the pervasive non-contact (tho well acted) soccer and the very localised high contact (little acting needed) NRL.

    Toast Thanks Dylan Addison

First of all thanks DFA for your attitude and approach to the game. I would be very happy if you are rookied back or even contracted to the Footscray Bulldogs, but if another club sees an AFL role for you I wish you all the best. I have no complaints. You may feel let down by your skills...

No Oppo Supporters Non Bulldog Footy Talk - Bulldogs only

It was no small satisfaction that the FFC President was nominated to respond on behalf of the 17 concerning the Essendrugs FC. They have always acted superior, but the wheel has turned on their own actions.

    Lefties

There is the obvoius tactical advantage of mixing up the play/angles and goal opportunities. But recent biological research suggests that the left handers have a shortened decision/action brain process that enables faster response in competive sports such as football

    Training Report Feb14

I was watching most of yesterday's session and agree with most of Libba39's comments. Personally I saw Campbell's specific training as ruck work, no indication of forward position for him. Cooney looked smooth and fluid, only injury will stop him from regaining his high standard.
