Agh I see, those absurd clearance numbers that led us to a.....let me check........bottom 8 finish.
As I said when the ball leaves contested areas he is a liability. especially defensively
So you can honestly say watching last year (bulldogs game aside) that we wasn't a liability? Zero pressure, constantly exposed defensively. As soon as the ball leaves contested situations its game over for him.
If you genuinely think he still has "juice" to propel this team forward next year...
11 pages of autopsy and next to zero criticism of Fyfe. He is a huge part of the problems with our midfield getting smashed and his lack of hunger is clear as day to see.
The biggest indicator holding this team back is its lack of pressure. We are unable to generate contest pressure at a level...
The draw is going to gloss over a tonne of cracks that would have been projected further had we actually lost
Our pressure would be in the bottom
4 in the league and is nowhere close to top 8 standard. Furthermore our ability to handle pressure is so substandard.
JL got absolutely demolished...
I'm sorry all, but Emmett isn't AFL standard.
His ceiling is late career Ballas.
Little bit of pressure here and there, the odd goal to keep his spot in the side but little to none offensive impact
I legitimately think we are currently demonstrating below AFL standard levels of fitness. It’s the only explanation for the severe reduction in work rate offensively and defensively this season.
Mids are simply not working hard enough through the middle to allow successful transition from...
I just feel like Longmuir takes the opposition bait every week. Its clear what the blueprint to beat us is. Flood back defensively make us kick long to contested targets and open us up on the rebound. We would continually have multiple repeat entries only for them to then take it coast to coast...
Our Midfield depth for pressure and physicality in a finals atmosphere is paper thin. Fyfe/Jackson may improve that and im not sure O'Meara solves the issue but it certainly assists.
We got manhandled in the Pies final. We do need increased physical depth inside.
I think the melts stem from a supporter mindset that we continually need draft picks. The list composition and current point of the rebuild mean this is the right move and we haven't paid overs. we are getting an elite home grown talent back through the doors. Age profile is perfect with regards...
Tabs is fit that is why he is playing at Peel. To also suggest he is one of the best forwards in the league...........
Go and listen to JLs Presser
They will play Amiss over him again next week.
The continued calls for a quick tabs return is laughable. JL's presser covered this off stating "We were looking for a forward who presents straight at the ballcarrier" This is exactly what Amiss brought to the side and exactly what Tabs doesn't do.
We are better without him and our forward...
This may be contentious but if Pearce is back Out - Tabs.
I firmly believe our best footy is without him in the forward line. His leading patterns clutter up the forward line and his decision making when he gets the ball further up the ground is questionable at best. This doesn't even take into...
Sturt is really approaching Valente enigma levels. The guys has done next to nothing at WAFL level and is yet to prove his body can handle the rigors of top level football. You could argue that outside of bodying Hurley on debut he has done next to nothing
I am probably president of the Anti Lobb Club, but there no way I would have Meek in the side over him purely from a structural balance point of view.
Can only hope we see a better 2022 version of Lobb purely as its a contract year for him.
No better way to endear yourself to your teammates that you wanted to turn your back on that frolicking around Broome while the rest of the squad return early and gets to work.
Can someone tell me what the knocks on Angus Sheldrick are? Every game I see he appears to kill it, kicks goals, tough inside and wins his own footy. Are his limitations athletically?
Would be an absolute steal at current projections.
Just strikes me as a natural footballer in the Barlow build.
Whispers were 2 and 13 for 6 & 8 with GWS.
Assume Callaghan and Amiss targetted.
Seems a but counter productive trading for another highly touted vic kid post Cerra.
