I’ll hold fire on JL (definitely needs some experienced support in the box tho), as our team is still very young, these games will happen …

HOWEVER he’s got to find a way to fix our starts , it’s Cleary a major deficiency and it’s up to him to find a solution otherwise it could very well be his undoing.

No team no matter how good can continue to start games so poorly , especially in finals and hope to succeed consistently

I am sick of our players always kicking over the mark. If you watch other teams, they use the stand rule to their advantage by running around the mark.

The team is playing lazy football. I am also calling into question Pearce's leadership, what are we right now? 1-12 for winning 1st quarters, that to me says there is a clear attitude problem with the team.

I would **** Cox off at the end of the year. He's thick as shit that bloke.

Second to the ball all night. Watching at the ground there was so much space for GWS. We were off from the get go and couldn’t capitalise on early sodas in the first. Entries back to bombing it long and we could not lock it in our forward half for our lives. Stupid skill errors that gave the ball back to GWS just as we’ve gotten the upper hand.

that’s season, i can’t see us playing finals from here.

And also find a way to bring the ball in after a point rather than the bomb to the pack by Ryan every time. You have all pre season to develop strategies and we should be able to get it beyond centre 75% of the time like teams do to us.

Something Bucks mentioned about us worried me a bit - he said he was shocked our boys were so quiet.

We won that game he watched but I think that can be a positive sometimes, ie resilient and stoic - but others times it leads to rudderless, leaderless trash.

I've suspected for some time Fremantle is a team of introverts, with JL and Pearce the biggest and quietest of them all.

Has little to do with skill and strategy but it might partly explain how quickly we fall back into our shells.

Kuek kicked 6 for Peel.
Just don’t understand the last two weeks with the scared selections.
Jackson isn’t a ruckman. He’s shown that. He’s still developing.
Fyfe, Banfield, Sturt, Treacy in that forward line is too one sided.

There has been too many changes and altered structures. Trying to stopgap players into positions and hope for the best

Let’s be honest, tonight we didn’t get out of them.

I'm not even that annoyed because I didn't even bother watching. I knew we would lose and have a mountain of work on my house I need to do while the sun is out.

The team is the 2nd or 3rd most inexperienced in the comp. Stuff like this will happen. My main concern is the coach, as I don't think JL is the right man.

We aren't going anywhere until Johnson, Erasmus, Chapman, NOD, Amiss, etc have played 50-80 games and can play consistent football. It's 2-3 years away.

We don't have a 2nd tall Treacy too short and lacks leap. Jackson out hurts our balance of forward line.
Fyfe not a great forward. Need more movement

I suspect our team is very mentally weak, which I guess you'd sort of expect for younger players. But Cox did an interview earlier in the year where he basically talked about how much loss of confidence in personal/team performance affected his output. That's one of our more senior players on the field every week, and if that's indicative of the rest of the older guys then it's not looking good for us.

A team that is so confidence based is going nowhere in finals.
