Hello Dockers fans!

The embedded resources below are kept up to date by the trade board mods (as much as possible – we are human after all). Enjoy!

TBH I'm sick to death of the family excuse. We dont get a discount on homesick or WA players with family issues so why should the Vic Clubs.

Play hard ball and bend them over.
That's not actually true. We have Serong right now because the Hawks let Hill walk for unders.

If he goes I'd want a pick under 20 or we keep him for a year.

And that's a genuine pick under 20 not a pick that gets pushed back by other selections.
That would be picks 1 or 2.

Unlikely to get a pack of chips. 5th rounder maybe, probably have to keep paying his salary too.

Better we trade Schultz this year. Previously delisted (by us, really shot ourselves in the foot) so won't get compo if he leaves as a FA next year and have no chance to match.

Read this morning the Port bosses are complaining about 200 games required at SANFL for father son, the acadamies for the "non football states", etc. Our club should be on the front foot on all those issues relentlessly as it is such a compromised comp favouring Victoria and the East in so many ways that gets worse every year. From the number of games that we get to play on the MCG, the destruction of the NGA, etc. the priority pick fiasco to North we constantly just take it year after year. Even taking the Hamling lack of pick there is an easy fix that makes it equal for everyone, if you lose a free agent you dont get any picks. That is the whole crux of free agency, you re sign your players or else risk them to free agency but you shouldn't get an arbitrary reward for losing them.

We will get compo if he leaves - which going off current valuations I'd be very surprised if it wasn't end of first round.

In saying that watch us keep him, lose him next year as a free agent, and have the valuations drop due to how messed up the draft is this year.

Tadams been playing forward this year, Schultz slots right in as an upgrade there

Frustrating af

Yep,
Spot on! Perfect role replacement.

Biggest club in the land comes calling hard to say no.

Plus probably doesn’t help we shipped off all his best mates over east last season
