Although I have been critical of Wilson in the past he has been excellent since coming back into the side and would be unlucky to be dropped. Chappy is a better player in that half back position so an interesting selection dilemma.

Colyer, Walters and Hughes are
the players currently in the firing line with Colyer the most vulnerable.

Team selection must be difficult these days with most players producing decent footy nearly every week.

If we win this game I will probably buy tickets to September as they are refundable.

This may be contentious but if Pearce is back Out - Tabs.

I firmly believe our best footy is without him in the forward line. His leading patterns clutter up the forward line and his decision making when he gets the ball further up the ground is questionable at best. This doesn't even take into his non existent forward pressure.

The emergence of Fyfe as a target even further reduces our reliance on him

Pearce Back - Logue forward - Tabs out

OMG, cmon seriously? What makes our forward line work is the two talls, you simply do not know how to watch a game without stats do you?

Difficult selection dilemmas at the moment - though Chapman is first choice, Pearce is first choice and Acres are first choice. So really that means Hughes, Banfield and one other miss out when all 3 are back in as they're not first choice players, also I believe Switta is a first choice player - but he seems to be a way off.

Not sure who the 3rd player is to miss out is.

Why you think Lobb and Fyfe have kicked goals? Who takes the first defender ?
Tabs is a lock in the forward line. He makes everyone play better. Simple as that

Fyfe has no forward pressure either.

Pearce comes in- Logue back into the forward line and Fyfe still floats around. Simple

Am off to the big game on Saturday..
It's been a while. What are the best seats in the Optus house ?? Wing, middle tier ?

Not by choice I ended up sitting behind the goals on the 3rd tier last time & loved it. Like Nat said it’s so different from seeing the game side on. Watching the way teams collapse & expand up & down in transition is fascinating & really makes you appreciate players who see the whole field when kicking. Mundy is a genius at spreading play & Freddy keeps his shape so well that he’s always dangerous when we go through him (not enough).

Very tough selection and only to get harder injuries permitting. I went no change last week and it will be similar IMV. 3-4 changes after a 40 point win, with an even performance, is not going to happen.

Pearce in, Banfield out, Logue forward.

Chapman does not come in for Hughes who is playing wing and attends forward stoppages. Ditto Colyer who plays HHF. The only options are Henry or Acres for Hughes. Acres gets a run in the magoos just like everyone else and Hughes is harder than Henry which is needed for swans.

So who goes out for Chapman. It’s Wilson or Walker. Wilson has played better last two weeks, but Walker has runs under the belt. For me it’s Wilson, which sucks as a decision and is unfair. The alternative is no change and Chapman plays magoos which is laughable but there you go.

Hahaha. Tabs has some of the best field kicking in the team. The dude’s elite and provides an outlet on the wings and runs harder than almost anyone. If you live stats so much, maybe look a bit deeper than fingernails at them.

I thought you were saying Chapman doesnt come in and I was going to lose my mind haha, he needs to be in the side. Honestly, I still think it should be Chapman for Hughes. Hughes hadnt even played wing till 3 weeks ago and I'm pretty sure we can put someone in the role he's doing right now and get considerably better output. I'm not sure why he should be untouchable from a role he's just started.

Yeah I dig what you’re saying, but I don’t actually think there’s an alternative winger outside of driz, Acres and Henry. That’s why Hughes is a stop gap. It’s a tough role - need massive tank and discipline.

Clark can play there but he’s our quarter back and doing very nicely and you don’t fix what isn’t broken.

The obvious call is Hughes for one moor week then acres in.

Chapman v Walker and Wilson is the conundrum.
