It was good to see so many players being nominated for this honour but the one player who consistently rated in peoples votes and has been awarded the S38 Favorite Ophidian Player’ is our Vice Captain Robertio

Rob does a great job connecting people and keeping a thread rolling and can always be relied upon to back up a fellow team mate if the opposition start getting a bit cheeky. In the back ground Rob ensures people know what’s going on so it’s no surprise he has been nominated by his fellow team mates as their Favorite Ophidian Player for S38.

And the winner of the S38 BOOB is Mrs Turbo who over all had the second highest team DT for the season scoring 1203 and averaged 54 posts a match thread. Mrs T has had a solid season on and off field resulting in her winning this seasons BOOB. Congratulations Mrs Turbo for achieving OOBs highest honor the Best Ophidian Old Boys Trophy for season 38.

The BEST OPHIDIAN POSTER for S38 goes to Robertio who has constantly posted a storm every week for the complete season with a post tally of 1882 posts averaging a 110 post per week.

This award is not just about post numbers it’s also about the quality of the posts and what Rob does is engage with everyone and continually brings people into the thread which is why he is a deserved winner of his second BOP.

Well done Robertio on a terrific posting season and a well-deserved winner of the BOP.

And the winner with a team high DT score of 1299 is our tenacious rover and everyone’s favorite prime mate Over The Post . OTP was a founding member of OOBs and part of our first Premiership side S35 who had a break and has only just returned to us this season. The break obviously refreshed him as he has had a great on field season ripping through the middle making a monkey out of the opposition.

Many thanks to the LG, and especially Tigerturbulance whose love of the club shines through in everything he does, as this night shows.

This hasn't been the best of years on a personal level, but the OOB community and love has provided me many good feels along the way. Thanks to all for your personal messages and support.

Things seem to ever so slowly be righting themselves, although life will never be the same.

But I've found a lot of joy popping in to see where we are and what we're up to. I have a feeling that next season you may see a bit more of the Wig than what you've gotten used to. Fair warning.

Let's enjoy the off season, have great Christmas, and rip back in.

P.S I'm starting a GoQundMe to try and raise capital to change Bono's name from whatever the **** he changed it to back to something normal. PM for details.

I am humbled and pleasantly surprised by the BOP award, thanks to all OOB, especially our Captain, dear Capitan Tigerturbulance!
