Before we finish I would like to recognize a few players. First up DemurePrincess who after 26 games and one Premiership at Spotswood moved to Baghdad mid-season as part of a trade deal between both teams. Although not long at the team DemurePrincess made a big impression and left her mark at Spotswood. It’s been good to see DP doing the same in Baghdad and now makes posting against the Bombers more enjoyable. On behalf of the Old Boys, thank you for your contributions to Spotswood DemurePrincess

Also it’s with a touch of sadness I have to announce our favorite blue horse myblueroan after 2 seasons and 35 games will be retiring and hanging up her four qooty boots. MBR was a natural and a crowd favorite as soon as she trotted out onto Spotwood S37 resulting in her EKA win. Although MBR will not be playing on the paddock with us any more she has assured me she will not be a stranger and will still pop by Spotswood occasionally to cheer on the team. So even though it wasn’t a long time you have certainly left your hoof print at Spotswood myblueroan and know the stable light will always be on for you at Spotswood.

Before we end the night, I’d like to thank every Old Boy and Old Girl for their hard work this season to make the Ophidian Old Boys the best team in the competition and Spotswood the most envied qooty facility in the SWEET FA.

I would like to especially highlight the Leadership Group of Braklet Robertio Mrs Turbo thewizardmelon and Dingster who have been great servants of the OOB and all played pivotal roles in guiding this club. It’s a strong LG that is the back bone of any successful club, hence why we are in the strong position we are today.

All dressed up for tonight and would you believe the car wouldn't start. Had to wait an hour and a half for the RACV to turn up. So sorry I'm late. Hope I didn't miss anything!!!

And the winner with a team high DT score of 1299 is our tenacious rover and everyone’s favorite prime mate Over The Post . OTP was a founding member of OOBs and part of our first Premiership side S35 who had a break and has only just returned to us this season. The break obviously refreshed him as he has had a great on field season ripping through the middle making a monkey out of the opposition.
