Mario Bortollotto won 2!!Billy Frampton Premiership Player… says it all really

1968Anyone know when the last time a team won a GF kicking less goals than the opposition?
Still haven't seen the game and from what I can gather, he had a bit of a Barry, but if he hadn't stood up when Cameron and Cox were out, today doesn't happen.Congratulations to big, bustling, Billy Frampton!
Yep that one was inept umpiring. You have to give the player a chance to kick the ball after he's taken the mark.As was calling play on for Cox while Bailey was within the protected zone. Umpire should have moved him away before calling play on.
The boxed set is going to kill me!!7 pts, 1 pt, 4 pts, we are kings of close games
Makes It all the sweeterLoving the salt from oppo supporters, we won premiership number 16 so suck it lol
We were clearly the better team on the day, and would have been robbed to have lost it.
A champion season for a champion team.
I cried, probably more than I should have. But to be honest I still get teary thinking of Pendles up there with his second medal, Sidey, Howe, and for all that played a part.
On the game, Naicos and Hill were our best in my mind, closely followed by Howe and Mitchell, Pendles for his epic last quarter and Crisp for his all day running. Contributions from Quaynor, DeGoey, Sidebottom, Cameron and Cox were crucial to the victory as well.
There is no negativity in my body, but if we'd lost, I would have been roasting the Shiite out of Ginnivan. Just lazy and such little effort which is just so contrasted by the rest of the team, who all work so bloody hard. That snap from almost 50 metres was absurd and to have 0 tackles again for the day and to see Johnny Noble in tears after the game...
*, back to thinking about being farking premiers!!!!!!!!!
It's got me crying again. Coxy was so emotional. If you haven’t watched the replay. I can highly recommend
Good stuff, lost my voice, ran out of piss, scared my dog, blew my speakers out, cried my eyes out….. FFS how good was that.
love you peoples and go PIES!!
How bloody good was that! I still can’t believe we are premiers! The poignancy of the win took a long time to sink in because these close finishes leave me wondering if we actually won or not. I tended to concentrate on the guys I thought were holding us back today, but over the 4 quarters, the efforts of Crisp, Cox, Pendlebury, Quaynor, Markov, Hill, Cameron, Mitchell and others became too obvious to ignore. Love the way we bounced back when Brisbane jumped ahead in the final quarter. Really proud of the boys!
Just finished replay number 1. Going to watch it again straight after. If you haven’t watched the replay. I can highly recommend
That whole team deserved more than 2010, glad Pendlebury and Sidebottom got another though.I am so happy for Steele and Pendles. They deserved so much more than just 2010.
Both these guys are club legends and will be hall of famers no doubt. Today confirmed it. Next year may raise them to Immortal status. 13 years between flags.
It's testament to both their , resilience and commitment.
The umpire shouldn’t have said stand in the first place Markov was already leaving the area when he said it.It's impossible to hear umpires calls and whistles with the huge noisey MCG crowd no allowance is made for this !
But when the umps instruct players to get out of ruck duels they nag continuously
He’d be in the standsI wonder if Ollie Henry is smart enough to realise that he'd be a premiership player right now if he wasn't a big baby?
Ridiculously good trade!Do we dare mention the Dayne Beams trades? Crisp & DeGoey with important magpie premiership goals against the lions. If there was any doubt left there’s none now.
