Still haven't seen the game and from what I can gather, he had a bit of a Barry, but if he hadn't stood up when Cameron and Cox were out, today doesn't happen.

We were clearly the better team on the day, and would have been robbed to have lost it.

A champion season for a champion team.

I cried, probably more than I should have. But to be honest I still get teary thinking of Pendles up there with his second medal, Sidey, Howe, and for all that played a part.

On the game, Naicos and Hill were our best in my mind, closely followed by Howe and Mitchell, Pendles for his epic last quarter and Crisp for his all day running. Contributions from Quaynor, DeGoey, Sidebottom, Cameron and Cox were crucial to the victory as well.

There is no negativity in my body, but if we'd lost, I would have been roasting the Shiite out of Ginnivan. Just lazy and such little effort which is just so contrasted by the rest of the team, who all work so bloody hard. That snap from almost 50 metres was absurd and to have 0 tackles again for the day and to see Johnny Noble in tears after the game...

heck, back to thinking about being farking premiers!!!!!!!!!

it was a great football match, but I always judge these days by the impact of the pregame entertainment. I wasn't motivated by it and i didnt like the use of ageing rock stars. The AFL needs to put on a full taylor swift show or beyonce or something similar. They need to put a temporary cover over the top of the stadium so that it can be blackened inside for a full light show. I'm a discerning consumer of artistic entertainment and I expect the best. Sports fans in other parts of the world wouldnt put up with today's entertainment experience. US football fans get a full halftime show and 100 minutes of generally lifeless football spread over a 3 hour period. We can't compete wit that....sure the footy was good but I dont watch the football for the football

He's been through hell with his back issues and been a star for us for most of the past 10 years

’s goal…holy wowsers. That will go down as one of the truly great Grand Final goals. I didn’t even think he’d make the distance.

What a great player and even better bloke, no one better to kick what was ultimately the winning goal.

Hill, De Goey, Daicos, Cox, Pendles, Sidebottom, Howe, Quaynor, Mitchell - all absolutely terrific.

The poignancy of the win took a long time to sink in because these close finishes leave me wondering if we actually won or not. I tended to concentrate on the guys I thought were holding us back today, but over the 4 quarters, the efforts of Crisp, Cox, Pendlebury, Quaynor, Markov, Hill, Cameron, Mitchell and others became too obvious to ignore. Love the way we bounced back when Brisbane jumped ahead in the final quarter. Really proud of the boys!

How bloody good was that! I still can’t believe we are premiers!

I am so happy for Steele and Pendles. They deserved so much more than just 2010.

Both these guys are club legends and will be hall of famers no doubt. Today confirmed it. Next year may raise them to Immortal status. 13 years between flags.
It's testament to both their , resilience and commitment.

That whole team deserved more than 2010, glad Pendlebury and Sidebottom got another though.
