On another celeb encounter - my mate who was in the queue for the members from 5am, found herself next to a moderately well known Australian actor. He was a Pies fan and said he’d flown in from Los Angeles for the game - overnight? - and was heading straight back to LA afterwards. That’s dedication.

I read that $500K of Geelong merch sold in the 24 hours after last year's GF - pfffftt!

Thought I’d visit the motherland today.

We walked around this most iconic oval last night after the game. Beautiful evening with a few true believers for company. It bought back vivid memories of the 1990 wild celebrations. Does anyone have any photos of that memorable evening? Before mobile phone of course.
