So i say it. I gather he's staying:)

Anywho I think he'll go well next season and a fair few on here will be eating hare pie!!. Which will make you cannibals!! And not fine young ones either!

Before anyone says this means Hamish is 100% gone, he has a contract for 2013 and the rookie list rules stipulate a player can only spend 3 years on a rookie list, so Majak was always going to be upgraded.

Just thought I better clear that up.
Must you really Chron?

Much better to leave it alone for the rumour mongers to work with and write multiple posts, suggesting all manner of trade commutations, get into arguments with one another, leading to insults being exchanged and all that sort of stuff.

I mean what will these people do to fill in their time with one less scenario of many dimensions to work with?

More importantly Fish and Gibbo have been promoted and they have proven they can play AFL football.

Fishs's final VFL match of the year in particular deserves special mention.

25 kicks, 10 handballs, 6 marks and 5 tackles vs Port Melbourne. 10 handball receives.

That is freaking outstanding.

I have a good feeling about this guy.

I didn't think Gibson was promoted, just got a contract extension (could be wrong though).

Yeah I agree it's great North news, but I think you're being harsh on Majak. Sam Reid's GF impressed quite a few judges. He only had 13 disposals and three marks but it was the way he hit the contest that impressed apparently. You see pressure either real or inferred is still pressure, I think Majak will deliver similar.

Where do you see him playing long term?

I'm not writing Majak off by any stretch and agree that he is a very exciting prospect.

I just don't see why he should be singled out above Fish and Gibbo.

So has Gibbo not been elevated?

Good that Mullett and Daw have been rewarded for their form.

Mullett is a gem. Really think he will be a big part of our future. Just hope he can improve his speed, body size and defensive aspects. I just hope we aren't too one paced with guys like Mullett, McMillan, Wright, McMahon ect

I actually think Mullett might surprise us with a few of his flaws. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I have a few concerns about Mullett but being one-paced isn't one of them.

Lol, Mullet aint no slouch. Macmillan is not toooo bad. Definitely isn't a plodder. I'll give you Wright n McMahon though. Wright would be an absolute weapon if he had a better running game.

I'm tipping the kid we end up taking this year will be quick. There seems to be a few around our mark.

Needs to put on 8 kilos?

There's that. I also worry about his work under pressure. He can shank his kicks and appears very one-sided in his kicking and handballing.

People seem to be getting a bit excited over a couple of performances as sub with the heat out of the game and a full match vs GWS where the defenders all got a heap of the footy under little pressure.

To be fair, I thought GWS put on pretty decent pressure that game. Mullett certainly seemed to be able to handle the intensity of that match better than most on the day.

There wasn't much pressure in the back half.
