I watched him at training yesterday and he looked fine. My guess is he came down with something last night/before the game.

I kept quiet last week as couldn't be bothered explaining to all of the nuff nuff that dont see a players role in its entirety. I'll sound very smart in hindsight but when I saw him on the bench I thought it was either a kcik up the bum for him or he wouldn't play.

His biggest problem isn't his goal kicking its the fact he is constantly out of position when we need a rover front and square. He just looks for the easy ball over the back. Fact is we dont need him, and we have better players we need to get into the team.

I would say Wright and Harper played his role today.

Wright was particularly dangerous.

I'm well aware Cruize didn't play his role, he did of course play instead of him though..

They were both dangerous, neither offered the defensive pressure of Lindsay though.

Whilst I couldn't hear it clearly, this was reported very differently on SEN as "Lindsay Thomas has a chance to finally play his 100th game this weekend after his family had flown in for it last week only to be disappointed."

"Issues" were raised, with "form" being one of them.

Thanks Twinks. Interesting how the two reports can be interpreted differently despite using the same words. The report on AW emphasised that Scott refused to elaborate inferring there are problems. Maybe I have misintepreted what was said.

Whatever was actually said, hopefully Rob/Heath or Rick will have the full presser up on the club's site soon enough. There's no doubt the press are asking LT related questions in an attempt to eek out some quotes they can run with to back whatever angle they've taken on the whole LT story.

Just heard Scott's news grab and he refers to "internal issues" and says LT will be in the squad this week. He said that Lindsay was not at his best last week so was replaced late by Garlett. Interesting choice of words.
