The club really has dug a hole for itself giving him 7 years x 1 million per annum deal. There must be an escape clause if the player breaches his contract.

Surely there is an out clause if he runs completely off the rails and doesn't play again? What happened with the Tom Boyd contract? Wasn't he on like a mil a year then quit? I can't remember.

Blokes forced to live with the captain for poor standards at the club, Has been sent home from a camp already but barely a month into pre season he's already fixed all his issues

A real wait and see around Clarry turning up to training when they return. Some writing him off thinking it’s possibly season over and Maxy Gawn saying he’ll be expecting him back at training. Let’s hope he’s back to training with the rest of the team.

I think those writing off a guy who was won 4 bf's and arguably the best dee in the last 40 years will have egg on their faces. The guy was one of our best performing players in the finals despite horrendous preparation. I think it's fair to say that he won't be right for the early rounds of the season but we hopefully don't need him then.

Yeah but that has nothing to do with how good they are as players, so Oliver's accolades mean nothing in that context except that he will likely get more chances than most.

So far we've seen very little evidence to suggest he is willing to adhere to the club's standards since October.
