The horror to end all horrors so far today

Hind has become a real turnover machine this year. The run is great still but so many unforced errors ... or running himself into trouble.

People had a go at me about him needing to be dropped.

Also gets a lot of praise when he's playing well (funnily enough).
If his job is just spot filler, it does seem weird we aren't playing someone like D'Ambrosio over him at this stage of the season

Becasue Mass is not quite ready in his defensive game to be just giving him a game.

But neither really is Hind (some of his defensive efforts are very ordinary) so with 3 rounds to go and nothing but the future to play for, why not?

I like Hind, think he's a useful player. But he was terrible disposal wise last week, and was again this week. He's going to cop some stick, especially when there's a guy on the list who looked OK at senior level and is far more likely to be part of a potentially successful future

He still has better defensive form.
The real question mark on Mass before we picked him was his defense. One thing you can not do if you want to go anywhere is just hand over games to the young blokes.

No what surprises me is the cop as much stick as they do when it is not really them that is the issue with our list. They are the low hanging fruit.

As my boss keeps saying, "you've still gotta pick it". He was shit, we lost, people are going to call him out. I doubt anyone is laying our season at his feet

Yet they will not call out the "favorites" or they call for games from young blokes who have more defensive issues.
Maybe if they said play Brand and move Laverde to half back it would be more credible as it would be based on VFL form.
Mass played half forward his last two VFL games so it would not even be a position for position change.
Like I said. Low hanging fruit.

Heppell, Parish, Merrett, Shiel get called out all the time. Langford continues to split the board. Stringers attitude, fitness and commitment are questioned.

He’s at his best when he’s not doing those dinky little Hollywood kicks. There’s nothing wrong with missing a kick boundary side and just taking the throw in.

And his best is genuinely very damaging, which is the most disappointing part.

He needs good games from McGrath, Redman etc. Gets lost if there is no run and can be pressured too easily.

No big fan of Rutten but he is still senior coach. U back the coach on GameDay until they are gone.

I actually felt sorry for Rutten there.

I get players are fed up but have some pride in your own performance and attitude on field. I wish Rutten was able to slap the petulant child.
