Yeah this is really painful watching Clarke struggle like this, he is really lacking confidence atm

Thanks for clearing that up, we didn't get that from the other three replies to it.
I hadn't read the next page and considering it was only 3 minutes since the post it shouldn't matter. I couldn't give a **** what you think either.

Clarke looking dodgy, but he's surviving (touch wood). If he can stick around, the bowlers will get frustrated, stray from their plans and give Clarke some opportunities to get bat on ball and get his eye in.

hussey is all over swan

Where has this Hussey been all our lives?*

*Past two years.

Re: 1st Vodafone Ashes Test: Australia v England @ GABBA (Thur-Mon) [After tea Day 1 -?]

Just can't see how you can justify having Dougy on the sidelines.

it's hard cause there isn't really much seperating our number 1 quickie from about number 10....

another four hussey. looking the best he has in a long time....

Re: 1st Vodafone Ashes Test: Australia v England @ GABBA (Thur-Mon) [After tea Day 1 -?]

Loving this from Hussey, very proactive. Like Kingy said, he's not in his shell and is playing very positively for the first time in a long long time.

Hussey could be the middle order rock we need.

Pup has gotta wake up

Nice of England to take the pressure off by bowling Swann. Can't see him lasting much longer with Hussey carving him up.

Clarke still can't buy a run though.

Re: 1st Vodafone Ashes Test: Australia v England @ GABBA (Thur-Mon) [After tea Day 1 -?]

He's not that good.

Gotta love the commentators calling Swann the 'best spinner in the world'.

That was after the six, before the consecutive fours.

Looking like a great match at the moment

Clarke is shambolic though, hopefully Broad can go a step further and actually take his head off. :thumbsu:

Big Pieterson ton in the second innings to give us a real shot.

Re: 1st Vodafone Ashes Test: Australia v England @ GABBA (Thur-Mon) [After tea Day 1 -?]

Hussey always looks so much better when he attacks, in for a big score.

Re: 1st Vodafone Ashes Test: Australia v England @ GABBA (Thur-Mon) [After tea Day 1 -?]

We should have sex with him in the back of a Volkswagen.
That'd probably do him for the series I'd reckon. :D :p

Good mini fightback this, thanks to Huss, amazing what a positive frame of mind does. Pup is struggling though.
