can't put TT, Dusty, and Bolton in the same sentence, the last two are game changes and architects, TT is a workhorse who needs 50 possessions to have an impact. TT is a low IQ footballer.

hehe, Kane was right all along hahahaa
Please stop posting.:$

Wow, thought there might be some Hopper discussion in this thread not JGTI!!!
On topic, I think there is a bit of harsh criticism of Hopper, I’m sure due to the fact the draft pick we used to get him is going to likely be around 5-10 rather than the 15-20+ mark we’re hoping it would be (I’m factoring in some player bids etc).
He hasn’t really had a good run to make a full judgment on yet. Looked to be hitting good form before the injury and you can expect him to come back in straight into top form.
What I have seen is he has good decision making and ability to find time in traffic.
Biggest mark down is his pace, which in itself isn’t a huge issue, but becomes a bigger issue due to the fact we have too many slow players now.
Will be interesting to see how they address that issue over the trade/draft period this year.

An outstanding game today, BOG for mine. His last two weeks have been superb and been a massive part of why we've won both those games. And he was one of the few who could hold his head high after the Lions smashing, his first game back after the injury.

We'd be down propping up the ladder with the Hawks, Roos and Eagles without him and Taranto in the squad this year.

Timmy Taranto reminds me of Paul Kelly (Swans legend) the way he has started with us he could end up our version of him, an absolute beast and top 5 players of modern day tigers

you would pretty much think hopps would get votes from both coaches this game.

he is a beast at presenting up at a contest, by foot he plays like a junior footballer. Cant agree with you.

In retrospect unfortunately this trade hurts. Gave up a high pick plus some for him. Could of had him free as a free agent this year.

How?
He would have been traded to a different team

He was leaving GWS with multiple suitors he wouldn’t of stayed an extra year just to play for us

Is there any chance we can strip some weight of him and play him either on the wing or high half forward next year? I don’t want him and Taranto at the centre bounce at the same time …. It’s just a bad mix

Hope you don't teach maths
Not to mention that even if it was possible for the hawks to overtake us in round 24 it’s Hawks v Freo as well

Guys been injured and hadn't had a proper pre-season. see what happens next year, cut him some slack
Doesn't even play and gets caned. Walked into a team, had multiple injuries and the coach ****s off. His best is exactly what we need post-Prestia. Him and Taranto surrounded by outside ball users is the ideal mix.
Let's be honest we likely gave up the next Reece Conca for him.

No it wasn't 'likely' at all. Having to use a drafting decision made 13 years ago to defend a very bad trade that got Hopper to Richmond is a stretch to say the least. And even if it were true, Conca still did manage to play 150 games for both Richmond and Fremantle, something given Hoppers age and injury history he is very unlikely to equal with this club for what's left of his career. Perhaps you should have used the examples of Anthony Banik or Richard Lounder instead.
