had to look ok at some point, just doesn’t do anything for me as a player, hope he improves.Like all our plodders looked better with the rain.
He was ordinary in the first half. Really lifted once the rain tumbled down and Sydney dropped off.I thought he was good. Love his side step through traffic.
This. He will be a very important player moving forward. He needs continuity, he is a gun when up and about.
What has been wrong with Hoppers year so far…?JH has not had his best year and partly due to injuries but he is a big quality inside bull and something we have missed and an area Richmond have been dominated in for a long while.
He is a very important player going foward that will be well worth the trade
He has not been able to get continuity in his season with the injury interuptionWhat has been wrong with Hoppers year so far…?
He simply wasn’t putting any or enough defensive pressure in the first half and he has a turning circle akin to Mumford .What has been wrong with Hoppers year so far…?
When ?He needs continuity, he is a gun when up and about.
Agreed, Taranto and Hopper are just too slow. I would say Cotchin is faster and applies more pressure than themHe simply wasn’t putting any or enough defensive pressure in the first half and he has a turning circle akin to Mumford .
He either couldn’t keep up and didn’t want to chase . He Taranto and Cotchin are not a great mix in the midfield at the same time .
No coincidental that he had less midfield time in the 3rd and we turned the game around , nor that he was more influential in the last when the speed had gone out of the game .
Only 3 players in the league apply more pressure than Taranto.Agreed, Taranto and Hopper are just too slow. I would say Cotchin is faster and applies more pressure than them
Richmond's pressure rating was through the roof in the second half, that's why we won.He was ordinary in the first half. Really lifted once the rain tumbled down and Sydney dropped off.
Cotchin is going again, surelyOnly 3 players in the league apply more pressure than Taranto.
Cotchin, Taranto and Hopper can't all play midfield at the same time but that obviously won't be an issue next season.
I'd be extremely surprised.Cotchin is going again, surely
I agree smasha and the weather helped as I said bc it became a slogfest. Our plodders with bigger bodies plucked their feathers. We’ve become under minibus a better wet weather side, but from a small sample pool.Richmond's pressure rating was through the roof in the second half, that's why we won.
AND we STRUGGLED in the rain all year EARLY this year so rain falling was NOT an ADVANTAGE to US!!!!!!
To use that as an excuse for the Swans is silly.
If it stayed DRY doggies game ,second half ,we would have won.
THE RAIN STOPPED US WINNING!!!!!!!!!!
