From the Pies board;

"Just emailed club letting know of my disgust and have requested the cancellation of my memberships & won't renew until Ed & Bucks are gone...."

And this is a polite post.

I don't blame them one iota mate.

What those pair of egomaniacal pricks have done to that club is certifiably criminal.

Reamed the Pies on this one and doesn't it feel good. I'm getting great enjoyment watching their board implode.

Welcome lads!! Massive boost for our forward line, which suddenly looks quite potent without Brown.

I was up and before this morning, i'm more up and about now.

Shrewd moves made in secret. Fantastic job by the club.

Will Brodie, 11th hour trade....

STEPHENSON: It's been a whirlwind of a week. Not really sure how it has gone down but I'm just thankful of the opportunity North Melbourne has given me

STEPHENSON: a couple of days before the trade period my manager mentioned I might be traded. It was a bit of a shock at the time but I have now got my head around it

STEPHENSON: I wanted to stay. I loved my time at the club and the relationships I built but I'm sure I can do that at North Melbourne

STEPHENSON: I actually rang Bucks and asked what was happening. He said for me to pursue a trade as heavily as I can

STEPHENSON: Bucks said I hadn't opened up to the group enough which I didn't really agree with. He also said there was some things he didn't like as a footballer which is fair enough because I didn't have a great year

STEPHENSON: Being in the hub I felt like there was no release from footy and it probably got into my head a little. Everyone's emotions were heightened in the hub

STEPHENSON: That phone call I made to the Bucks was the only time I spoke to anyone in the heirachy at Collingwood. I did have a lot of messages from the players

Twice in two weeks Buckley has blamed things on the players rather than say it was his own call.

Interesting man-management skills....
