obviously this is the type of player we can all agree we don’t have much urgency in keeping/signing up. But given the age, is this type the club will be trying to keep?

More or less looking at the Taylor’s, Stephensons and well… yeah

He’s a wingman.

Give him plenty of space and let him run between the arcs and deliver inside 50.

He’s actually one of our better kicks.
I feel like you need wings who do a lot of the underappreciated defensive running.

Not sure if Stevo is that guy.

Actually he does alot of defensive running at times, well it seems like it on tv. And he is a good kick.

But he needs to earn his place back and I dunno if he's actually up for that.

Yeah my thinking exactly.

If it isn’t working , try something different.
You see in some game where Zurhaar and even both Curtis’s aren’t getting near it but we don’t make any moves.

Goal kicking is usually his saving grace. He lost me completely last week.
Yeah if nothing else, his kicking was a real strength. I remember being pretty chuffed when we picked him up initially, so disappointed with how it’s worked out. He’s been hurting my eyes for a long time now - the kids playing little league at half time are harder at it than this bloke.

I'm more than happy to see better players come through to replace him but I still believe that poor delivery into the forward line in a lot of games earlier this season meant that his ability to get loose out wide was wasted. Plenty of kicks went over his head or fell short, and plenty were helecoptered to Larkey when Stephenson was clear. The big issue for me is that he doesn't tackle with fury - that's an issue. It's highlighted even more when you see Wardlaw go in like a tank and bring down multiple opponents in one chain of play.

Having said that, if a second round pick was on offer...

I know it’s been mentioned before but there has been a noticeable drop off since his bike accident.

He was excellent in his first year with us, downhill since.
nah, it's been since his glandular fever.

just like phillips, ruined both of them.

if you don't recover properly you'll never be the same. many people get chronic fatigue due to this.
