With season 2003 not too far away, I thought I'd ask everyone to look into their own club's crystal ball and predict what is going to happen for their team this season.

Geelong Football Club

Final Ladder Position? 4th
Best & Fairest? Cameron Ling
Leading Goalkicker? Kent Kingsley - 62
Most Improved? David Wojcinski
Most Votes in Brownlow? Cameron Ling

Biggest talking point as far as your club is concerned?
Geelong will be the quiet achievers this season. The biggest talking point will probably be the return of David Spriggs after injury.

Name 3 players to watch out for?
Corey Enright, James Kelly and Gary Ablett Jnr.

Biggest strength of your team? Forward/Defence/Midfield Defence

If you were to be assured of beating ONE team, who would that be?
Collingwood - we play them twice, always great to beat the Carring Bush!! :D

Most memorable win?
Essendon in a high scoring thriller at Telstra Dome.

What will your team be known for the most in 2003? Our speed.

In 15 words or less, describe your coach?
Mark Thompson - Able to get the best out of his young players, never loses his cool.

If you were to be assured of beating ONE team, who would that be? Collingwood.

Most memorable win?
The preliminary final decided in the last five minutes. It would be the grand final, but it becomes a bit of a blowout.

What will your team be known for the most in 2003? Niggling and confrontations when play has stopped.

In 15 words or less, describe your coach? Misunderstood by the media, tough but encouraging with the players. Needs to chill out more.

Mark Thompson - an architect who has the plans has acquired the land and the permits.

Malthouse, obviously cares about how the team goes, capable of brilliance, but occasionally erratic.

Biggest talking point as far as your club is concerned?
Take a lot of teams by surprise and find themselves in 3rd spot with an 8-3 win/loss record mid-season. Inexperience costs them in the end and they lose a few towards the end finishing 7th.

Also Round 6 grudge match against Adelaide turns out to be a fizzer, over at half time with North up by 55 points.

If you were to be assured of beating ONE team, who would that be?
Essendon, let's get that bitchness back!

Come back from 30 points down in 3rd quarter to beat Essendon.

What will your team be known for the most in 2003? Free flowing play, surprisingly strong defence.

Dean Laidley - Gee, we didn't think he'd be this good, this quick!

Lacking consistantcy, but playing some amazing footy at times, setting ourselves up for a big 2004. Surprising a lot of people with the talent of our younger guys...

Ryan O'Keefe, Jarred Sundqvist, and Ben Fixter (also Lewis Roberts-Thompson)

Biggest strength of your team? Forward/Defence/Midfield Forward line ..

If you were to be assured of beating ONE team, who would that be?
Brisbane

Most memorable win?
Essendon, 1 point victory. One of the best games of the year ..

What will your team be known for the most in 2003?
A team that lacks consistantcy, but a team with a lot of young talent ...

Paul Roos - A coach that respects, and has the respect of his players. Excellent Footy Brain.

Defence or Midfield, depending on how the likes of Stevens and Simpson are used.

Carlton, Round 7. Something to prove to the former coach, amongst other reasons.

Adelaide, Round 6. “No Carey, No North” to be demolished once and for all! :D

What will your team be known for the most in 2003?
Not resembling the teams of the past. New, younger players given chances and a new, post-Carey/Pagan forward set up, both of which will take time to ‘click’.

Dean Laidley – Hard to know at this stage. Enthusiastic, well prepared, student of the game, teacher and developer of the kids (just what we need.)

Kevin Sheedy - in a time where Essendon face hardship, he manages to get the most out of his players.

Most Improved? Nick Davis - finally reaches potential.

Biggest talking point as far as your club is concerned?
An awesome start to the year see's Sydney sitting 1st after the first 6 rounds, and playing a completely new brand of football.
Wheels fall off half way through year when the backline is exposed due to KPP injury, but recover slightly at the end of they year to finish 6th. Heath James plays last couple of games at FB and impresses: A modern day fairytale. Win one final, loose the next.

Name 3 players to watch out for?
RYan O'keefe, Nick Davis, Tageh Kennelly.

Biggest strength of your team? Forward/Defence/Midfield Forward line without a doubt. The addition of Nick Davis and return to form of O'loughlan see them rotate through the middle. Barry Hall has an incident free year and bags a ton....just.

If you were to be assured of beating ONE team, who would that be?
Collingwood. Having reversed the poaching trend over the last few years, poking them in the eyes every year is the icing on the cake.
Colless gives McGuire the bird again.

Most memorable win?
the 100 point thrashing of Carlton at (near?) the start of the season at SA to start the bandwagon rolling.

What will your team be known for the most in 2003?
Like Masey said, A team that lacks consistantcy, but a team with a lot of young talent ...

Reinvents the Sydney game plan to more fluid, exciting style.
