Well having a stab i'd say that it's to wind up some gooooners. DB10 especially.

You understand a bit more than you let on. Also to celebrate the fact that anyone who scores against Leeds is instantly good for football.

I see Leeds lost again. LOL.

Have heard that Bates is talking about registering Wise and Poyet as player to save filthy Leeds. Ha ha classic.

Bloody Hell.....out of the play off zone for the first time all year.

And just to make it worse, Koumas scores for West Brom AGAIN, how we miss him and im angry we couldnt get a deal sorted out at the start of the season.

Id be VERY HAPPY with a play off spot now...VERY HAPPY. Roll on Transfer Window.

Rant over.

Not the day to drop points with 2nd-4th & 6th-8th all winning,
Bisgaard a late winner for the Rams in a dull game.
We're just going, squad is a bit stretched but I guess you cant be up all year.

Trip to Preston on New Years Day for 2nd spot.

We warned you about the Ridsdale effect.

His impact is hurting two CCC sides at the moment.

Who is Colchesters manager. My feeling as that the next manager to get sacked in the EPL will find himself replaced by that man. What a gun :thumbsu:

It's Geraint Williams.

He was their Assistant Manager and only took over as Manager at the start of the season from Phil Parkinson who was doing an outstanding job but left to manage Hull. He's since been sacked.

Phil Brown who was sacked by Derby is Hull's caretaker manager and he's done a reasonable job since taking over.

First goal for the night goes to Rasiak. :)

The big worry is that the game will be called off.

It only went ahead after a 1:30 pitch inspection and it's just started raining heavily again.

HALF TIME

Postp. Burnley ? - ? Stoke C.

Crystal Palace 3 - 1 Norwich C.

Ipswich T. 0 - 0 Birmingham C.

Leeds U. 1 - 1 Coventry C.

Leicester C. 0 - 0 Sunderland

Luton T. 0 - 0 Cardiff C.

Plymouth Argyle 0 - 1 Southampton

Preston North End 0 - 0 Derby County

Queens Park R. 1 - 0 Colchester U.

Sheffield W. 0 - 1 Hull C.

Southend U. 3 - 0 West Bromwich A.

Wolverhampton W. 0 - 0 Barnsley

---------------------------------------

The big result is obviously at Roots Hall. Southend belting West Brom. :D

We are getting absolutely thrashed ourselves and somehow lead 1-0. I've continually said how unlucky we've been but we can consider ourselves extremely lucky to still be in front. They've had 15 goals attempts to 3, 13 corners to 1 and enjoyed 61% of the possession. Hopefully we can hold on. There's also still a chance that the game will be abandoned if it keeps raining.

Preston 0 Derby 2
Two in 3 minutes to Steve Howard (1 a penalty after Stead fouled)

JANUARY 1

Postp. Burnley ? - ? Stoke C.

Crystal Palace 3 - 1 Norwich C.

Ipswich T. 1 - 0 Birmingham C.

Leeds U. 2 - 1 Coventry C.

Leicester C. 0 - 2 Sunderland

Luton T. 0 - 0 Cardiff C.

Plymouth Argyle 1 - 1 Southampton

Preston North End 1 - 2 Derby County

Queens Park R. 1 - 0 Colchester U.

Sheffield W. 1 - 2 Hull C.

Southend U. 3 - 1 West Bromwich A.

Wolverhampton W. 2 - 0 Barnsley

---------------------------------------

I'll update the ladder in a few minutes time but some big results tonight.

Derby's win over Preston and Birminghams shock loss to Ipswich has reduced the gap to 3 points. Southend had a surprise 3-1 win over the inconsistent Baggies and Cardiff failed to win again.

Interestingly the bottom 3 clubs all had a win so things are getting interesting at both the top and bottom of the league.

We missed an opportunity to move into third but we were completely outplayed tonight. I'll take the point.
