Moving down a bit further to league one... Nottingham forest were beaten again, not long ago they were ten points clear, today they lost 5-0 to 2nd and are now in third.

Great result for Hull, Sheff Wed were on a real good run too

Nerve wracking last 10 mins but another top away win against quality.
Looking forward to seeing the reaction Billy got on his return to Deepdale.
Results certainly went our way, especially the late Ipswich winner

Pro: 4 points off third. Worse places to be than floating around play off zone.

Con: We were top. Three (count em) 0-0 draws in one week.

Cmon Jonesy, buy us some goals.

JANUARY 1
Wolverhampton W. 2 - 0 Barnsley

Interestingly the bottom 3 clubs all had a win so things are getting interesting at both the top and bottom of the league.

Terrible night for Barnsley. The 3 teams that were below us won, we lost and the team above us won. Just great

We must have, no Moomba.

Good effort by our boys, it wasn't pretty but the massive boost from getting 3pts will be the big thing to come out of the game. Robbie Elliott had a very good debut, while Rui Marques was excellent at centre half alongside Hayden Foxe. Great to see Kevin Nicholls back in the centre of the park leading by example. Despite only limited appearances this season due to a variety of reasons, we perform far better when he plays.

Still a heap of work to do, but it feels better to be a Leeds fan right now!

Bendtner has a broken ankle. :(

Seems to have been a very costly FA Cup match for Brum.

Losing Bendtner will hurt but they must have bought 17 other strikers during the pre-season so they at least have cover.

Apparently Kelly was injured too, Upson is unsettled, they'll lose Jaidi to suspension after getting a red card and it's another match that will have to be squeezed in between other CCC matches during a vital part of the season.

At least in the case of Bendtner he's shown enough to suggest that he'll be an outstanding player in the future. Whether that future is at Arsenal or another club remains to be seen I guess.

In the match last night West Brom came from a goal down to beat Luton 3-2 with Kevin Phillips scoring two late goals.

11 matches to come later tonight, all 3pm (2am AEST) kickoffs.

A somewhat relaxing weekend awaits Leeds fan after our game with Brum has been postponed after the cow paddock that is St. Andrews was deemed unsuitable for play.

The 3-0 flogging we were going to give them will just have to wait! ;)
Good, gives us a week to sign some more players and offload some more sh*t.

Coventry have let in four before half-time at home to Palace.

Injury time winner from David Jones takes Derby to equal top of the table.
(Ok so we've played 1 more game)
This is still hard to believe after the last few seasons of misery

SAINTERS WHINGE

Our large unbeaten run continues but once again we fail to win. The likes of Birmingham, Derby and Preston are able to win at home against teams who play for a draw. We can't. Unless things change we'll be stuck in this division for a very long time.
