Im just gonna send a "Roy Keane you legend" comment to this thread. Sunderland were looking relegation candidates but since he has joined they have done amazing things are looking certain to nab a play off spot. Made alot of great signings and has combined youth and experience very well.

Think hes gonna be the next big thing as far as managing goes in the English game.

That doesnt make him a legend :p :D

It's getting down to the business end of the season now.

19:45 Burnley ? - ? Leicester C.

19:45 Coventry C. ? - ? Southampton

19:45 Ipswich T. ? - ? Wolverhampton W.

And February 22 :-

19:45 Derby County ? - ? Stoke C.

No teams in the top 10 and bottom 6 can afford to lose form with just 13-15 games remaining. The matches at St Andrews, The Hawthorns, Oakwell and Elland Road are probably the most crucial.

Iain Dowie has been appointed the new manager of Coventry, signing a 3.5 year deal with the Sky Blues.

They've been in terrible form of late so this might be the boost that they needed.

Hopefully it isn't.

Big wins for West Brom and Preston and a dramatic late equaliser by Birmingham against Sunderland. At the other end of the table Barnsley and Luton posted important wins.

I couldn't be bothered putting up the table. I imagine we'll slot into 6th position and Cardiff 7th. Automatic promotion is now a long way away.

That table is a thing of beauty :) All 3 of Barnsleys goals came from our new Hungarian strikers. One of them Ferenczi has 3 goals in 2 games. Its a Hungarian revolution I tells ya

Onya Plymouth, getting a play off position is still a possibility, but unlikely. A fewmore wins like that would help

Hmmmm. Must win game and of course we can't do it.

I'm already concerned about the belting we'll get at Wolves on the weekend.

Beginning to look more and more likely that we'll go down. The consensus on the Leeds forums is that the team played like absolute crap. It's simply staggering to think that 12 months ago these lads had us dreaming of a return to the top flight. It's like they've caught the same syndrome that saw the Leeds of 4 years ago turn to complete shyte.

Derby 0 Stoke 2

For once our inability to take chances is costly as a 2nd penalty in 2 games gives Stoke an early lead, doubled in 1st half by Matteo.
To their credit,Stoke held on fairly comfortably.

We have Sunderland,Colchester & Birmingham in our next 4.
This Division is becoming way too interesting for my liking
