Oi Oi Oi, Ugly spinnaker tower, that's why the BBC chose to film one of it's Flagship shows from it? have you ever visited it or seen it up close and if you'd been up it you'd know that it gives fantastic views across the Solent and brings litreally people to this city... also we're in the Prem and you ain't, that could be where you are going wrong.

Bastarised Cockney? Better than speaking like a Westcountry Yokel i guess...

Boring........

Barnsley lead 1-0 away to Stoke at half time courtesy of a great goal by Ferenczi.

Those two Hungarians upfront for Barnsley go alright. I think that's Ferenczis 4th goal in 3 games.

Hopefully they can hold on. Not only would a win move Barnsley out of the bottom 3 but a Stoke loss would leave them 6 points adrift of a playoff place.

Oh yes, great reply, you belittle my city, i criticise so you just fob it off, not very nice is it? If you have never been up the Spinnaker Tower or even been near it how do you know what it looks like? You wouldn't would you, I mean i could have picked up the fact that you called me and my fellow Portsmoutians "Inbreds" which is rather offensive isn't it

Be pretty much universal approval among the Coke supporting BF-ites if scores stay the same. Stoke piling on the pressure, but you can't help but think that Barnsley might pinch one on the break.

Lets be honest though, Portsmouth is a bit sh1t.

It was ten years ago, it's a revolutionary period, it's not like it's in the dark ages... Inbred was uncalled for wasn't it, Skates i'll take because that's banter, Inbred is just offensive. Tghe focus is moving away from the Dockyard towards the Gunwharf and City Centre areas, the Whole of the City centre had had a recent facelift...

'Arry could do with one.

Great win for Barnsley. Stoke threw everything at them in the second half but couldn't get the equaliser.

Almost every game from here on in will have a huge bearing on the promotion and relegation battle.

Well done Barnsley.. Stoke have been in good form so it was a great win and a very important one too.

That was awesome :) The whole side defended magnificently including the strikers and wingers. Played like a well organised, cohesive, commited team. Stoke attacked all game, but we didn't allow them to create many genuine chances at all, our keeper Colgan had a quiet day. McCann's goal-line clearance could end up vital for our survival chances, and our captain Reid was awesome, lead from the front.

The Hungarians could keep us up  We've struggled all season finishing, today we had bugger all chances but Ferenczi finished the only real chance we had

Yes! I didn't have much confidence of going to Stoke and winning, but we did. And the way we won was even better. Inspiring defending by the Barns' boys. Hold your heads high. Brilliant effort.

I think that will probably kill off Stoke's Playoff ambitions.

Im hoping Southend stay up. Gotta love Freddie Eastwood :thumbsu:

I don't think he'll be there after this season, whether they stay up or not.

Poor old Dirty Leeds, one almost feels sorry for them.

Almost.............;)

If Sunderland can get something at the Hawthorns this weekend, we're looking good for an automatic spot.

Southampton Chairman Resigns

Southampton chairman steps down

Michael Wilde has resigned as chairman of Southampton, and will relinquish the role with effect from Wednesday.
He has also stepped down as a director of the club, and as vice-chairman and a director of parent company Southampton Leisure Holdings plc (SLH).

Wilde, 54, replaced Rupert Lowe as Saints' club chairman in June 2006.

A statement read: "Michael led the initiative to secure new investment monies. He has been unsuccessful in those endeavours."

It added: "In consequence of this, the board reassigned the task of raising new funds to other directors of SLH.

"Michael remains a significant shareholder and intends to continue attending Southampton matches as an avid supporter."

Just when I thought we might have finally been getting some stability

West Brom vs. Sunderland this weekend.

Who do we all think will win?
