She was the only one that made more than 2 changes to last year's 8. Good on her for actually making a predicition.

Of course I'll be wrong, but here it goes.

1. Sydney
2. Fremantle
3. Adelaide
4. Port Adelaide
5. West Coast
6. Western Bulldogs
7. Richmond
8. Melbourne

9. St. Kilda
10. Collingwood
11. Geelong
12. Hawthorn
13. Brisbane
14. Essendon
15. North Melbourne
16. Carlton

Richmond and Port will break the threshold, therefore Collingwood and St. Kilda will exit the top 8. I placed Port at 4th because they seem to be the most likely team to continue the trend of making the top 4 after not making the top 8 the previous year. They are only 3 years removed from a premiership, and I think a healthy Tredrea will do wonders for their forward line.

Yeah mods shouldn't you lock this thread now? I know we're an honourable bunch here at BF but we wouldn't want anyone changing their ladder now would we?

It's still good for people to post and talk. I won't index anyone who posted their tips after Friday night's game and from now on. And anyone who edits there tips after this point will be time stamped.

Re: BigFooty's Official Ladder Predictor for 2007
1. WCE - The dynasty continues.
2. Bulldogs - The list is coming of age, Scott West overtaken in the Brownlow by the new star - Cooney.
3. Freo - The Freo/West Coast rivalry dominates the AFL in 2007 - Perth relocated to Melbourne to save the AFL.
4. Sydney - Could have the best Coach of the millenia - the Roos robots still a force in 2007.
5. Hawthorn - The big improvers for 2007 - questions still remain about Clarkson.
6. St Kilda - New coach - same disappointing result for the Saints.
7. Adelaide - Losing Biglands and Clark the final blow for the Crows hopes in 2007.
8. Port - Scrape into the Finals for no good reason (moccassin power maybe?).
9. Richmond - Proud tradition - best Club song - @#$% club.
10. Melbourne - Problems in the forward line spell slide for the Dees.
11. Collingwood - Malthouse retires midseason, along with the players.
12. Geelong - There's something not right down at the Cattery
13. Essendon - Sheedy and Hird to retire in 2007.
14. Kangaroos - Similar to Richmond, just with less cash and at least some spirit.
15. Brisbane - In rebuilding mode - Jonathon Brown buckles under the pressure of carrying the Club.
16. Carlton - The disgrace of the AFL - considered for relegation.

All reasons stack up. We have a winner :thumbsu:

1. West Coast (With the likes of Judd,Kerr,Cox,Lynch & the young guns they'll be a force to reckon with in 2007)

2. Fremantle (I've got two words Pavlich & Tarrant there gonna make the best forward combination in the AFL no doubt there midfield is 2nd best to those of Eagles)

3. Essendon (The best victorian team of the year with a mouth watering line-up of Hird, Lucas, Lloyd, Houli, Jetta, Stanton, Davey, Michael, Fletcher, Lovett, Johnsons this side looks just as strong as the 2000 premiership side if not stronger!)

4. Western Bulldogs (Brad Johnson will be favourite for the Coleman Medal & Brownlow don't be suprised if he bags 100 this year cause he's sure to pack a punch, there's only one problem with the dogs handball happy you gotta long these days)

5. Sydney (They play ugly brand of football but it's payed off for them in the last few seasons)

6. Collingwood (Paul Medhurst I think will have a terrific season and when Bucks,Didak & Holland comes back then look out!)

7. St.Kilda (If the Saint's big gun Nick Riewoldt gets back to full form then I guarantee you they'll be much higher then 8th)

8. Port Adelaide (Recruits David Rodan,Daniel Motlop & Krakouer are sure to have a great year with all these young aboriginal talents and Port will just make the finals on percentage)

9. Carlton (Will have there best season in a long time expect Whitnall to hit back from that poor RD 1 effort because he will be the turning point of the season but sadly I think Carlton will just miss out on the finals on percentage)

10. Geelong (Mark Thompson will be sacked as coach at the end of the year but Cam Mooney will do well in the forward line this year)

11. Brisbane (Brisbane will find some form this year but if there to get even close to the finals big Brown will obviously carry the workload on him)

12. Melbourne (They'll be the down point of this season even with a forward line of there calibre they still struggle to post big totals)

13. Adelaide (They look a completely different outfit against the Bombers without any big name forwards there gonna have a shocking season)

14. Richmond (Tiger fans don't get too excited about the new season there gonna fail time and time again)

15. Hawthorn (They overuse the ball, Clarkson's gotta figure out different tactics if Hawthorns gonna win a game)

16. Kangaroos (With Thommo out Kangaroos will struggle to find some goals they'd have to rely on there small forwards to kick big scores)

Premiers: Fremantle
Runner-Up: West Coast
Smokeys: Essendon & Collingwood
Brownlow Medalist: Christopher Judd
Brownlow Meadlist Runner-Up: Matthew Pavlich

no chance

1. Eagles (Team still improving every year, plenty of depth on their list)
2. Bulldogs (The best midfield in the league but will need some talls to stand up)
3. Saints (last chance before some big retirements, injuries are the key!)
4. Freo (Best forward line by far! but slow midfield)
5. Sydney (the hardest and most durable team in the league)
6. Port Adelaide (quick team all over the field. Will be impossible to beat at home)
7. Geelong (strong defence and midfield should get them in the 8)
8. Essendon (Good mix of old and new, Lloyds fitness is the key)
9. Carlton (still a year off but have a lot of talent all over the park)
10.Adelaide (the big slider, may have blown their chances!)
11.Melbourne (hardest team to judge, could be top 4 or bottom 4)
12.Brisbane (still have a lot of talent but not enough to trouble the 8)
13.Richmond (champs one week, chumps the next. Same old story)
14.Collingwood (Will cause the odd upset, suprised if Malthouse is around next year)
15.Hawthorn (plenty of talent but not quite there yet)
16.Kangaroos (Bottom team by far and i cant see much changing for a while)

Grand Final: Sydney v West Coast (both know how to win when it matters)
Premiers: West Coast (could be like Hawthorn of the eighties)
Norm Smith: Dean Cox (The Eagles most important player, dominant in the ruck with foot skills and running ability of a top midfielder)
Brownlow: Daniel Kerr (proven vote getter, no cousins to steal votes)
Coleman: Brad Johnson (Mr Versatile, the Mike Hussey of the AFL)
