2025 Ladder Predictions

Interesting that at the end of last year, many picked Adelaide as 2024 finalists.
Then 3 of our best players were out for much of 2024.

Thilthorpe was out until Round 17. Was looking like a behemoth pre-season, then got a knee meniscus injury - gone. One of, if not the most impactful forward in the AFL in the block of games he played, Round 18 to 24.
Nick Murray, our best backman out with an ACL until Round 13.
Best player Rankine out with both injury and suspension for 8 games.
Post-season draw analysis shows Adelaide as having the #1 hardest draw in 2024.

Now many picking us to be worse in 2025.

Quietly confident Adelaide will be well in the mix for finals in 2025.

Would be amazing if you got a Harley, Harley would love that as a welcome gift.

4,22 & a F1 should be enough to make that happen. Being the last draft before Tassie, may even be able to exchange it for 2-3 lower first rounders to buff up the case.

Hawthorn winning the Premiership defeating the Western Bulldogs .

Warren Buffett would give you a Trillion to one .

Considering Hawthorn are currently second favourite to win the 2025 flag, he probably wouldn’t.

OK I’ll give this a crack;

Sydney - no reason to see them slide
Carlton - stacked & better injury luck
Freo - Bolton a difference maker.
Geelong - Bailey’s run will help
Collingwood - only if oldies can stay fit
GWS - home wins as always
Port - stacked midfield helps
Brisbane - will miss the big bloke

Bulldogs - close but no cigar
Gold Coast - history repeats
Hawthorn - thanks for the picks!
Adelaide - poor man’s Port.
Melbourne - too much trauma.
Essendon - who kicks his goals?
North Melbourne - start the journey up
St Kilda - planet lost.
West Coast - Should have kept 3.
Richmond - young talent, green shoots.

If the ladder finishes this way then Brad Scott will be sacked and Matt Nicks will be sacked. no way Nicks will survive if the crows finish 13th.. i think the crows have to make the 8 for him to survive
