My mum is one of those twice a year punters, Easter at Oaky and the Cup. This morning she tried cracking a joke "Oh this is the horse, Efficient, sounds like me dont ya think ??" She goes and wins $160 bucks. Unbelievable.

Nah that wasn't my 300k.

No on Monday night when we were doing the cup talk I was just having trouble keeping up so i was often copying and pasting Seths horse headings to save time and to let posters know which horse I was referring to in my posts.
Pretty sure they were the biggest bets that were taken at the call of the card which Seth attended.

Oh I won $1500 on Efficient.
It certainly was a nice surprise.

yeah thats what pisses me right off!! i can know all the form on every horse in each race, but i will be at the races with mates who know nothing, and they still get more collects then i do...i must just be no good at it..

Or maybe there's more blind luck in it than you realised. Especially in a 24 horse race.
