Quick Miller, get in his ear! "Ease off Jack, Tigers are gonna need a new forward line hero in a few years..."If Watts finishes the carnival the way he started he'll go number 1.
I haven't seen the kid play, but from reading all this and a bunch of other threads, can someone correct the following if I am wrong?
Natanui is a 196cm ruckman, with an average kicking action (for average results), an average mark, quick, but not a ball carrying type and a kick arse tackler. Now, I am sure he is exciting and all that, but is he a sure bet? Would clubs not prefer a genuine KP or gun midfielder over a small ruck type?
about 198cm now. If he keeps growing he will be at ruckman height with an amazing leap. He has bulked up a bit too. He could probably do well as an inside mid on his own, and his pace and agility are first class. As previously mentioned, he is a fantastic tackler and he is very hit or miss in his kicking. Sometimes he kicks beautiful 55m drop punts and hits a target perfectly, other times he shanks a 30m stab pass. If he can iron that out he has the makings of adam goodes mk 2. I would love to see swan districts play him in the centre square as a rover, as if he could prove he can play there, the eagles would jump all over that. Has the potential to play every position on the ground. I would be happy if we got naitanui at 2 (if watts went at 1), then got swift at 18. I (and many others) rate swift only just behind rich as a mid. Talent wise he is top 10 but his plaguing serious injuries will scare alot of teams away.I haven't seen the kid play, but from reading all this and a bunch of other threads, can someone correct the following if I am wrong?

There is not a chance in hell that melbourne would pass on Naitanui...
And Jack Watts is very over rated on BF and there is no way that he will go at number #1.
One of Hurley/ Watts is the Richmond fantasy at present, I assure you. Fingers crossed, though I am doubtful.

Where's Graeme Richmond with the six shirts in a box lined with cash when you need him?[/QUOTE
Francis Jackson, your recruiting manager was Brighton Grammars coach for many years and still helps the school out. So would know Jack pretty well.

totally disagree with this. Has been in great form this year except against Knights. Last year his form dropped off at the end of year due to sickness and probably cost him being drafted. See how he finishes the carnival off and also the rest of the year. Can't understand why is so hated on BFGaertner has had some bad form over the last year so i wouldnt be to sure he'll go has not played real well this year so needs a good finish to the year. Vickery will go 15-25 if not better .
I wouldn't be too worried by some of the comments on here. I suspect that some people on here are managers of some of the kids and pump up their own and put all the others down who they don't manage. Let the kids' footy do the talking and everything else will take care of itselftotally disagree with this. Has been in great form this year except against Knights. Understatement of the year. Kid has one great game and now he's No.1, it's a joke. Great kid, but not 1. Top 10 is more likely
I doubt Hurley will fall to 5-6, (assuming tigers finish above dees, dons, eagles and dockers) but there is every chance that Watts will still be available then, so i'd say Richmond will target him
im going to be called an idiot and get laughed at here .........
but in 5 years time im calling ZIEBELL to be top 5 players in the AFL.
this kid is a freak
Why would managers come to an internet forum and try to talk up their players?I wouldn't be too worried by some of the comments on here. If we finish out of the bottom six but not in the finals, would Yarran be there?
He fits one of our needs for a quick HFF, but Fev needs another tall to take the pressure off or eventually be his replacement.
It's very early, but I'm crossing my fingers for Hurley or Watts who is 194 cms, quick and bottom age.
If Melbourne get Robert Warnock from Fremantle will they still need to take Natanui? Wouldnt they be better to take a player in the type of Rich?
What type of player is Heyne?
haha very true. its like a CHF in the draft who has the best hands. Is there any left footer ever in a draft that is not raking?
Yarran may be there ...I think however if Freo have 4th choice and Nat, Rich & Hurley are gone ...we may just nab him being a very, very good local prospect.
If we somehow drop into the bottom 3 and WC have 4th choice - I think they may do exactly the same thing. Pray we remain crap out here!
