Nah just a dislocation. Was only sitting about 20m away from him when it happened, he took an awkward mark, popped out his pinky.

P Burgoyne suspended for 2 (with early plea). Very annoying, especially considering the form he was in.

Lol went with Birchall for durability. Paid off well. :thumbsu:

No real idea how long he will be out for either.

I was leaning to Birchall, but went bocky in the end. Just as bad :) So much for the durable reliable defenders. My Injury risks in Goddard and Chornes are doing better than my safe durable reliable players. Birchall is "upto 4 weeks"

Birchall fractured his thumb during Sunday’s clash at Docklands, and Melbourne newspapers reported on Tuesday morning that scans show the defender needs surgery and may spend up to four weeks on the sidelines.

NT - Cross? Boyd? I think neither of these were that damagaing yesterday, though still influencial. I think higgins was probably the best of the lot yesterday.

Thing with griffen is, 15-20 touches from him can really turn the game on its head.

Remmeber i told you to go for gilbee.

Everyone forced you not to cause he wasnt consistent enough.

Fortune favors the brave;)

So far :) marathon. Only 3 weeks in.

Not sure if mentioned, Nick gill hammy 2-3 weeks (who would have him?), Scott Stevens is "test" for next week.

If Stevens doesn't play, may well mean Scarlett goes to Walker? (and thus wont score with scarlett hanging onto him like a priest on a little boy).

TBH I would rather have Tucky miss a few games than play and get poor scores. If he gets a decent score in his next game, his price should rise a fair bit due to his 110 in round 1. Tough decision who to start: Robinson (playing Sydney), Beams (due for an off game) or Zaharakis (unknown).

Yeah quite dissapointing. At least it's just an impact injury..

Few places say 2-4, up to a month and some say at least 3 weeks, so he could be back for round 7, hopefully. I have cover at the moment with Hill and Suban now covering for Birchall and Raines. I held on to Raines for this loong so I may as well hold on to Birch.

Hopefully Raines is back next week, then I will have a playing emergency.
