definitely not ziebell as he has more price rises to go. i wouldnt recommend upgrading thomas to him either as you should have bigger problems in your team than dale thomas.

Thanks for your idea, but my teacher, Roy, off DT Talk, mentioned that Franklin will shoot up in price, as he's playing Essendon, Melbourne, Freo and Adelaide in the next month. My current forward line is

N Riewoldt, Higgins, Deledio, Pavlich, Ziebell, Thomas and Taylor Walker. Ideally would get rid of walker, but only got 129000 leftover, with one trade this week. I still dont know what to do. Help??

Thoughts on Adam Simpson? Has scored 4 out of 6 over 100 and a 97 also. Uses the ball poorly, so won't get tagged. Looking alright at the lower end of the premium price scale.
not too bad players like kornes and thompson are roughly at the same price as simpson and i would consider better dters but he can rack up the possies so i dont think he would be the worst buy.

whos on your bench? also franklin has a relatively high B/E so i dont think hell go up much this week anyway (although im looking to buy him).
with walker i have him too i think hell start to rebound soon and go up a little bit in price, if he gets 50 for the next couple of weeks i reckon hell b back but then again it depends if he plays or not too, with him im waiting a week because i have the luxury of skipworth on my bench.

a) richo >>>>>pav/buddy/petrie/goodwin/rioli

b) walker>>>>>macaffer then richo>>>>>>> roo

or
c) richo>>>>>> forwards in listed in part a) and walker and macaffer for cash because i have only about 40k in the bank

i also have 15 trades left thoughts?

I want to fix up my backline soon but i believe i can make a bit more money out of Suban and Hill first so i think i might wait. Also Hodge is still dropping a little.

As you should.

In my Mids i am tempted to get Murphy for Rich this week. Worth while? No, Rich probably still has another 50k or so to go up Also would like to get Coughlan as i believe he will be an 80-85 scorer this season. Not worth a trade to bring him in, too injury prone, won't be a keeper and you'd get more money out of a basement price rookie.

I would like to upgrade porp this week. Thinking of Pav or Franklin or maybe someone else. Who would you guys reccomend?

I would recommend keeping Porps and giving him time to get over his injuries. Trade Krakouer instead, he's probably close to peaking and will surely start getting tagged eventually. If you're going to trade this week, I'd go Riewoldt if you have the money, and if not either Franklin or Jonathan Brown (I'm doing Krak to Brown, but only because I plan on doing my last forward upgrade next week so I'm giving Franklin time to drop a bit more in cash after 76 and 55 scores. But if I was only planning on getting one, I'd get Franklin) I personally don't trust Pav to score will in the midfield.

Thanks

Is there much point in trading Krakouer though since his got an avg of 82? He could be an alright keeper. Do you think Porp's scores will increase any time soon? From what i have been reading his been used in a different role from last year and is more of a target rather then a crumber which i think is effecting his scores. You would probably have a better clue then i would since you would get more Crows games at S.A.

I have Riewoldt so i probably have to chose between Franklin and Brown. I think i will get Franklin since i think he will get more of it because he can spend more time up ground.

I know Rich has probably still got a bit left to make but could Murphy be a good pickup at his current price? Will i get many other players of his dt ability drop around the time Rich peaks? That is what im worried about. I think Murphy could be in the top 10 scores in the mid this year so i dont really want to miss out on someone at his ability, but then again i would also like to get Bartel in my side.

Too many options to chose from for my liking.

what about Bernie Vince, can he keep it up or is he too much of a risk? Very nicely priced though for what he's been scoring.
I think Vince is a bit of a risk since he is probably the second player to get a tag in our mid after Thompson. But i think his getting something like 78% game time atm so his having no problem finding the ball atm. Also another good thing is under 10,000 people have him so his a bit of a rare pick

Option B would be alright apart from i am not sure how safe macaffer's spot in the side is. Collingwood still have Rocca,Shaw and Didak to come back in with a few other players im sure.

If you decide to go for option B i would chose either Buddy or Pav out of that lot.

Ready to upgrade Walker, can afford anyone I like... Was looking at getting a <400k fwd so I have necessary cash to upgrade elsewhere next week. Currently have Didak, Goodwin, Higgins and Delidio.

Brennan, Pav, JBrown, Buddy, Davey... who would you take?

take your gut pick really, id be going pav, closey considered would be buddy and brown.

Been thinking about my trades this week, wanted to see what I could do to bring in Riewoldt. The rest of the forwards are falling to pieces, but Roo is in some serious form. B/E of 80, and has a pretty good run coming up.

Trades would be:

Out - Ablett, Skipworth
In Murphy, Riewoldt

Next week:

Out - Brown, Rich
In - Franklin, Kornes/Thompson

It would mean hanging onto Beams (along with Hartlett and Anthony), but hopefully he will only miss the one week. This is all assuming Walker doesnt play. If he does, I will bring in Corey instead of Roo (for Beams rather than Brown).

Thoughts?

Without arguing the merits of getting rid of Ablett, you're getting 3 extra premiums for 4 trades so it could be a good move (you must have a fair bit of left over cash?)

Yeah currently have about 370k left over - I had Dalziell, and traded him for Hartlett with the intention of then upgrading Rich the following week. Figured I could pull and extra 10-15k out of it due to Rich's price increasing and a Kornes/Thompson/Murphy type dropping. Hartlett getting injured was a bit of a spanner in the works though...

I have used a fair few trades (mainly managing constant injuries - 13 at last count), but after this im 3 upgrades away from my final squad.

My benches are Darcy Daniher and Jeff Garlett, neither of them worth as much to take Franklin for them. And i am pretty desperate to get Franklin as his average against Essendon is 118. And with Ablett i need to get higher scorers. So which one do you guys think, Ziebell or Thomas?

Neither, trading either of the two would be a waste. Franklin will drop in cash again, I think he still has a decent amount to lose. It has been said for the last 3 weeks that Franklin is playing 'x' team and he will explode, so people want to get him... Yeah well he has flopped.
He didn't score well against Carlton who have a lacking backline, didn't score well against Wet Toast even though he had an average of over 100 and Aurora is the best scoring stadium etc etc.
He has a BE of 132, even if he gets his 118 average he still loses cash. As much as you want to get a high scorer in (which he isn't even proving to be so far, Ziebell and Thomas both have very similar averages to him atm), it would be wasteful to do it this week.

Especially when Ziebell will continue to rise in price, and I think Thomas will as well. Thomas is finding the ball a lot more now, he works his arse off to get the ball just needs a few cards to fall his way and his average will increase undoubtedly I think, more so when Medhurst and Didak are back/fully fit.

I wouldn't be even considering those trades, but hey, it is up to you.

Hartlett could still play this week... But then again, Carlton are playing Freo so it would be now or never to get Murphy IMO. Personally I'm gonna hold on to Hartlett and Beams - still lots of money to be had there.

What do you guys think regarding Rucks? Jolly has a BE of 131, so could be a bargain after the next game. How does he rank up to Kreuzer, HMac or even Petrie? Gotta trade Hille this week (already got Cox) and not sure what to do. I'm thinking its too late to get on the HMac train, so naturally I was thinking Kreuzer and using the extra cash elsewhere. But Jolly would be a steal. Were his scores against Hawthorn and Brisbane flukes? Thinking he can score more than Kreuzer, and maybe similar to HMac...

hello ladies and gents,

I am very stuck and need the help of a dreamteamer.

I have 210k in the bank, and i need to get rid of Daniel Kerr and John Anthony, Kerr is the one person in my midfield who doesnt produce, he is getting a heavy tag each week and just doesnt look up to it, so i want a good midfielder.

Anthony is gone for the week and basically gets his 50- 60 each week but i want more, there are a few forward options, Beau Dowler who is cheap, and Anthony Corrie, both scored well last week, and are cheap which would enable me to buy any midfielder i want.

My other option is to trade Kerr for Bernie Vince, and then Anthony for Aaron Davey, so at the moment i have been thinking alot of it and now it has done my head in, any opinions would be nice.

At a loss at what to do this week so any suggestions gladly accepted.:)

I have $86,100 in the bank with 15 trades left.

My problem areas are -

Mids = Ablett , Salopek , Sewell , Rich , Otten & Tuck (emg.Beams & Hartlett)

Forwards = Higgins , Richo , Franklin , Krakouer , Thomas , M.Brown & Walker (emg.Skipworth & N.G. Brown)
