Harley is still contracted to County, not sure if that one will happen.
Fair enough- wasn't exactly an awe inspiring signing but guess you never know till they start playing...

What for? He'll get paid out
Is Berger still a walk-up start for Perth at this stage? If so, hahahahaha.
He hasn't started one pre-season match I don't think. He is behind Howarth it seems (Who isn't a LB).
Billy Mehmet is on trial and supposedly played okay today. I'm concerned though that if we sign him it will be back to 4-4-2 lobbing long balls to him.
Is there such thing as a shit signing for the HAL ... ?
Yeah, his name is Bob Malcolm...
Billy looked great against baysie the other day and worked well along side Smeltz and set the Kiwi up for both of his goals. They have played together first so will be interesting to see how he goes.
Need a left back now and ill be happy with the squad. Just get the best left back from the WA State League. He would come cheap aswell.
Welcome to the club Billy.
How can you automatically assume that he'd be cheap. Would he even be a better option than what we already have? Just a tad ignorant there.
Our only options currently are Evan Berger or Todd Howarth who is a left winger trying to be converted into a left back by Fergie.
Surely the state leagues have a decent left back that could slot into the A-League and do a job?
heard madaschi to victory???
Victory looks set to seal a deal for Brazilian full-back Fabio, who has been trying out with the club for almost two weeks.
The defender played against Brisbane in the club's 2-0 win over the reigning premier in a pre-season friendly last weekend and did enough to earn a contract, which is expected to be finalised soon. The club is also close to signing goalkeeper Lawrence Thomas, 19, who has spent time with Sheffield United, in England's League One.
The Sydneysider has represented Australia at under-17 and under-20 level. Another player looking for a contract at Victory is sometime Socceroo defender Adrian Madaschi, who was training with the team yesterday.

Great Squad this year. Worried ego's may ruin our season.
Tough nut Steve Pantelidis is poised to become Perth Glory coach Ian Ferguson's final signing before the A-League season opener against Adelaide United at nib Stadium on Sunday week.
