Re: 2011-2012 College Football Discussion

No shit
I'd rather watch Miami (Oh) @ Toledo or SMU @ Southern Miss than Tennessee @ Alabama.

At least you know the 2 above should be close!!!!

Anyone with a brain would do their best to get Wisconsin @ Michigan State, and maybe settle for Washington @ Stanford or USC @ Notre Dame.

No other night games are really worth watching this week.

Re: 2011-2012 College Football Discussion

Stanford/Washington is still on ESPN2 and the USC/Notre dame game is a NBC game so Eurosport have the rights. but its stupid to not play the Wisconsin/Michigan State game, also where Gameday is this week

Re: 2011-2012 College Football Discussion

a condensed 1hr replay of the USC game is on Monday sometime, and now ESPN2 are showing the Wisconsin/Michigan State game, and i cant even watch my Stanford game on foxtel and now have to watch it on ESPN3, over a Alabama game that will be over within 5 mins

Re: 2011-2012 College Football Discussion

Syracuse/Mountaineers is pretty good so far. The Orangemen are fired up.
It's why I love Big East football.

Close from top to borrom, and all games are generally goodish.

Problem is when they get to BCS bowls their top isn't good enough.

The Syracuse QB (Nassir?) looks like a pro QB with his play. He has very good mechanics.

Re: 2011-2012 College Football Discussion

lol, I had a 4 leg multi for thurs-fri games this week

Went down at the 1st obstacle with bloody UAB of all teams upsetting UCF with a field goal with 21 second left.

Only just held off UCLA-Arizona under 62 (went for 60)

But I stuffed up both of todays game.

I had Rutgers-Louisville over 40 (went for 30)

and I had WVU covering a 14 point line, they were 40 points off that

Honestly, good decision. But them showing Alabama over the Washington vs. Stanford game is a joke.

To UAB's credit they did lead for nearly all of the second half...

Anyone got a view on Jax St @ UK? I have very little idea of the standard of FCS teams.

lol, anything less than a 4 touchdown win is embarrassing for the team.

If North Carolina turn up, that game easily.

Cincy vs South Florida and Wake Forest vs Duke should be close. The former probably a little bit higher quality.

Ole Miss suck, so Arky should kill them, so that game should be a waste of time.

Re: 2011-2012 College Football Discussion

Yeah, he's looking bloody dangerous.

I'm trying to keep an eye on Quinton Coples. North Carolina Defensive End.

Apparently he's a top 5 prospect.

Re: 2011-2012 College Football Discussion

Actually NBC who has the rights. Eurosports just shows that here.

They'd have rights for all home games.

away games would be on the network of that conferences tv deal (In most cases ESPN, MWC IS CBS. I don't know about C-USA, MAC or SBC.)

Re: 2011-2012 College Football Discussion

F'n ESPN3 is not updating still not showing any of the 8PM games, only game showing ATM is the Alabama game which is on ESPN. i want to watch my cardinal

EDIT: ohh great now ive missed Stanfords first TD, which i read using gamecast on espn.com

Re: 2011-2012 College Football Discussion

Vols-Bama 6-6 with a couple of minutes to go in the half. Very unexpected.

Good series for the Vols kicker, picks up a first down on a fake punt pass (the kicker comes out to punt? Wake up Bama.) then a career long 52-yarder to tie.
