Re: Round 10 Captain Choice

With Swanny posting some horrible scores, he's perma captain no more. Yes thats right, with his niggles, he will come under the "öther"option

Thinking of going Cox this week against Wood. Should score nicely

Other strong options to consider

Pendles
Selwood
Boyd
Franklin (if Kennedy can kick 10 against the Dogs...)

Left field:

S. Thompson
Deledio
Goddard
Scotland been in great form
Adcock

Who are you choosing?

Chapman if the weather is good on the coast.

Re: Round 10 Captain Choice

Selwood v GC seems just too easy.

Swan will probably fire now that we've all lost faith in him. Last 3 scores of 163, 149 and 146 v WC..and is DUE.

Re: Round 10 Captain Choice

LOL - how long is the card for?

It's weird not picking Swan(c)

Not sure, probably a week.

Reckon last week was the obvious week to steer clear of Swan although none of us did :p This week i'm not so sure.

Wonder if those with Ablett or who are bringing him in will make him skipper against his old mob.

Re: Round 10 Captain Choice

I'm trading in Chappy this week and he's up against Gold Coast. Could also be semi unique with everyone throwing the C on Selwood.

Re: Round 10 Captain Choice

I'll probably go with Swan one last time. tbh, it really doesn't seem like the Eagles put a hard tag on the number 1 opposition mid. Boyd (110 is reasonable for a team pumped by 120 odd), Watson (148), Mitchell (127), Mundy (119), A.Swallow (136), Goodes (133) etc... we all know Swan's scoring potential.

Although, some of the Geelong players look pretty tasty against the GCS kids.

But will look at other options later in the week.

Re: Round 10 Captain Choice

I agree Bartel will rip GC a new one. Though I'm not picking Geelong players vs GC - if GC get dominated, too many players from Geelong will win too many pts, off each other, standardising the output. You are less likely to get 150 for your best player when half the team's on 100+pts sc by 3 qtr time.
Josh Kennedy only did it because he was the standout for 3 qtrs last week and the game was still in balance into 3 qtr time.

But ya looking a a very safe 120-130+ from standards from Cats. Just look at SC scores from the Dees, Bombers, Blues and Crows vs Suns

Re: Round 10 Captain Choice

Im not going anywhere near bartel this week he has been poor for more then this week he has just popped up at times which have saved his supercoach score...

Against the roos round 7 at skilled should of gone large, started well but went missing for a half only to have a big junk session in the last including a goal to get to 112

Round 8 against the pies was quiet throughout but kicked two very important goals with game on balance to scrape to 102

Then of course last week was quiet...

If he goes large this week it will be a bonus

Re: Round 10 Captain Choice

If i had Selwood i'd pick him.

Otherwise i'm thinking Judd or Cox. Will probably go Cox because Judd is just a consistent 110 and doesn't usually go too much higher or lower.
