Some very nice bunnyhops starting to happen.

On the discussion of NAB cup success and members, it was mentioned on the news the other day that Essendon were near on 7k members up on this time last year. Whether or not they remain that far ahead of last year remains to be seen but it just goes to show the effect a couple of wins can have on the fringe supporters.

Once we start stringing together a few good wins hopefully our fringe supporters (of which theres many) will hop on board.

Or the James Hird / Bomber Thompson factor?

i live in adelaide, at my footy club theres 5 north melbourne supporters, im the only member

Might have something to do with the poor interstate membership options on offer. Here in WA, your options (without taking into account 5 Melbourne games most are unlikely to use) are $150 for 1 game or $190 for 2 games.

Aussie Roos barely a few years ago allowed 5 games anywhere in Australia for $80 (approx).

I initially thought this, as last year as a country roo i was paying $110, which included 3 Melbourne games, but still had to pay to get tickets to the WA games. So i found the Interstate membership works out to be decent value personally if you are going to attend both games as the seats that are included with the membership are almost worth $60 bucks a game. One thing for certain is Subi is just horrendously overpriced for the third world facilities that it is.

Hey all.

Are we planning to put a new NMFC sign at Arden street?

Something stating that this is the kangaroos home (in accordance with Aegis).

Apart from the little sign on the window next to the front door, all is pretty plain.

Would be nice to see a big NFMC logo or membership sign on the building soon.

It never included five games "anywhere". It has always included five games in Melbourne.
This is the first year WA members have been able to get a membership that includes tickets to the WA games.
This was the most common complaint from WA fans in past years...that they were members but couldn't be guaranteed a ticket to local games, as there were more WA members than tickets allocated.
Now at least WA fans have the option, but the cost of those tickets has to be built into the membership.
Pay Troo Roo for Life and you hardly notice it!

Boomer on the footy show last night implored those who havent re-signed yet to do so before our round one game, said it was essential this year especially playing collingwood Round 2, he didnt want to see people stuck outside in lines etc etc.

Afterwards Sam Newman ripped those who havent signed up a new one, saying the team goes out there day in day out putting on their best efforts for us etc, not good enough to just sit back and do nothing. Said the club was in peril (quickly refuted by boomer and JB) and if we dont pull our fingers out the club will suffer.

Was actually a pretty good fire up from Sam, shows how pasionate he is about keeping all the clubs in the comp etc. While hes a complete douche most times his passion for footy is in the top tier.

.
I think the problem was Sam's use of the word strugling then he adjusted it to strugling for members
