Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

You could just add him to the "unadvised" list along with Walker and Robinson and most likely Lodge.

Pleased Heyne is playing today. Wouldn't mind seeing him through a game as I just have a good feeling about him.

You mean when they told us Walker has quad soreness so they backed him off about 2 weeks ago and robbo had tight hamstrings?

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

they are probably getting pushed really hard at the moment so I guess there could be some sore blokes starting to pop up and a lot of blokes starting nab cup games with less than full tanks from a week of full on training. Things will fall into place when round 1 comes, no doubt the week prior to that will be a lot easire and more skill/structure orientated training.

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Warnock says he will play round 1 more likely with N/Blues.Mitchell is going well and will start training next week round 8-10 is the aim.

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

From Northern Blues Facebook:
The Northern Blues were gallant in defeat this afternoon, going down to Williamstown at the Whitten Oval by a goal. Northern battled hard all day and were competitive against a much more experienced Seagulls outfit.

Eamon Jenkins was the only multiple goal kicker for the Blues booting two, whilst Tim Totevski, Adam Marcon, Rohan Kerr, Michael Dufficy and David House all contributed one goal each.

Northern Blues 7.9.51

Williamstown 8.9.57

Better players: Paul Di Rago, Brent Bransgrove, Adam Marcon and Nick Heyne

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Shame about Buckley. Regardless of whether he'd have featured for us or not, would have been good to get some games into him after an injury interrupted 2011. Fortunately it's still pretty early so he should be back about round 5-6.

What's this @ nonsense and why does it link me to a Twitter imposter?

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Swann on sen today talking of juddy & Jammo did anyone hear it?

Just heard a couple of grabs of the interview on the way home from work. Said that Judd, Waite and a few others would play next week vs Brisbane.

Also said that Jamo and Warnock would need to improve from where they are now to play round 1.

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Jamison is over his injury blues

Jamison, one of the Blues' key men, joined with teammates in skills work yesterday and completed sprints after training under the eye of high-performance manager Justin Cordy.

He will not play in the NAB Cup against the Brisbane Lions in Maroochydore on Saturday night but is expected to be available in a fortnight.

The Blues, winless after three matches, cannot make the NAB Cup final, but have organised to play North Melbourne at Visy Park in the final round of the pre-season competition.

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Disappointing for Dylan, but certainly not a disaster.

I was looking forward to seeing him in some capacity on the weekend but that will have to wait.

The good news is that it's just a finger injury. He won't be able to participate in any contact drills for a while, but it shouldn't affect his fitness.

10 weeks sounds a long time but reality is Dylan probably wasn't going to feature for Carlton in a senior capacity any time soon, injured or not. He'll still get a very good run at proving his worth for the Northern Blues throughout the year.

I dislocated 2 fingers 2 weeks ago now... tore the ligament off the bone in both fingers so I suspect that Dylan did something similar in training.

10 weeks does sound like a long time, but I suspect that he will be back in full training before the time is up.

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Getting Jamo back will be good. We were decimated with injuries in the last R1 Bleakmond game. Jamo and Hendo both out. Bower was injured. And Laidler and Duigan were playing their first games, and we only had Simon White as our "KP Defender" on Jack. Kruezer wasn't playing either. But, like always, the Tiges still found a way to completely stuff up their opportunity.

:)

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Where is Simon White?
Not listed as injured and not listed as playing throughout the NAB cup?

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Very positive news about Laidler. Walking around without any pain already according to McKay. And Arthroscope didn't show any damage, just did a flushout. Must be an outside chance for R1.

:)

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Anyone heard any news on Robbo? It's been reported he pulled up tight after training on Wednesday and was having scans today on it..

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Has anyone got any news on Simon White? Remember hearing that he was in the rehab group but just wondering if he is close to returning

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Carlton FC facebook just updated

- "
PHEW!

Precautionary scans have cleared Mitch Robinson of any damage to his lower back.

He'll miss this Saturday afternoon's match against the Lions but should return to the Blues line-up for next weekend's NAB Challenge game at Visy Park."

:thumbsu: good news

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Really weird pre-season for injuries. We've got a truckload of players who have had injury-interupted pre-seasons, but just about all of them are on track for round 1. Perhaps the club is just been overly cautious. I guess the priority really is getting most of the talent on the park in September and October. We were decimated by injuries at the end of last season.

:)

Re: 2012 Carlton Injury List Update

Tom Bell Back 6 weeks
Blake Bray 2 weeks
Dylan Buckley Finger 9 weeks
Michael Jamison Back 1-2 weeks
Jeremy Laidler Knee 4-6 weeks
Andrew McInnes 2 weeks
Luke Mitchell Shoulder 9 weeks
Rhys O’Keeffe Heel 9 weeks
Mitch Robinson Back 1 week
Rob Warnock Shoulder 1-2 weeks
Simon White 2 weeks

O'Keeffe won't be back for nine weeks. It was six weeks. Some players are cursed.
