I mean that I was hoping to hear something like Shawardi at 30-1 is jumping out of its skin, instead all I am getting is Americain as the one to watch and at 6-1 he isn't really worth the bet.

Shahwardi can be running 1200m in under a minute, it isn't going to make one difference in the Cup with everyone in the top 35 passed fit.

I Have a pre post bet on brigantin which was taken in September @20-1. I backed Dunaden In the CC and still think he will be hard to beat. But i will backing Galileos's choice from here on in, some trademarks of Vintage Crop and a lovely strider. The big arena of Fleminton would really suit this stayer.

As soon as you hear them start talking about the track, thats good enough for me

As soon as i saw the CC run i thought Americain was the one to beat in the MC. I thought it would be 3rd or 4th favourite and be around at least 8-12 to win.

Can anyone tell me what the weight turnaround is between Dunaden and Americain from CC to MC?

Also why is everyone so big on Gailileos choice?

Weight swing to Americain from the CC is 1kg, but more importantly imo the swing from last years Cup will be 4.5kg.

He was double figures after the CC, but then Olly was named as jockey and he has basically halved in price.

Galileo's Choice is lightly raced, has continued to improve as he gets more starts under his belt, won his qualifying race in impressive fashion and will have no problems performing fresh. Doesn't hurt that he's under a genius in Weld and has performed in hurdling races, just like Weld's first MC winner, Vintage Crop.

Weld has apparently had him pegged as a MC for a couple of years now, wanting to bring him last year.

Bring on 1 more scratching so moudre gets a run!! Would I be right in saying 1 more and he should make it? 24th in order with SS out but 1 to jump above it with a win today.
Probably not a realistic chance anyway but would like to see it get a run at 100-1

Betfair Antepost market is now closed.
Await the final field for 2012
