Had about five minutes to chat to him.
Asked him how he was feeling fitness wise, and he said he felt good.
He's MUCH bigger this year than last year. You can see it in his arms, neck and chest.
Asked him if he was playing this week and he said yes, and also asked if the club tried to organise a scratch match last week (because of the VFL bye), and he said yeah but they had some issues with the council so it didn't go ahead.
Then I broke into a rendition of "wind beneath my wings".......
Why do I look like a sleaze bag in all of the photos? Haha..

He has a substantial presence.
Most of the players will simply answer your questions, toe the line, smile and be friendly.
Jobe actually deliberately engages you, asking questions of you and showing 'active listening'.
It's not hard to see why he's captain; not only the above mentioned presence but is very charismatic and imposing at the same time.
I don't know whether it is learnt or taught but he is a TREMENDOUS leader - exceptionally lucky to have him.
