Meh!

West Coasts 2011 season could of very well been a fluke.
Collingwood could very well fall apart, to professional though.
Geelong? got to fade sometime,surely?
St Kilda? bottom 4.
Carlton top 4!
Melbourne, the Bullies, Port, Gold coast and GWS will be the whipping boys/girls and sometimes Richmond and Brisbane.
Essendon to make big moves.
Nth melbourne are the unknown quantity.
Hawthorn 5-8 eighth depending on who falls away.
Sydney same as hawthorn.
Brenton Sandersons word is gospel.
Freo to make top 4 if injuries are kind.

Geelong will be top four again, do not see that North have a list capable of top4, and West Coast were gifted a easy draw this year and had few injuries and probably see them being in the bottom half of the 8 next year.

Same thing was said about us last year; Carlton would need some reinforcements in my opinion in KPP's and St Kilda I dont think could finish bottom 4.....but were all entitled to an opinion....;)

Almost every year a team comes from the bottom 8 to make the top 4. I picked North as that team in 2012. The other possibilities are Richmond and Fremantle.

Me thinks you don't watch a lot of footy.:thumbsu:

Not sure if we will be top 4 next year would like to think so but feel we still have a few holes to address particularly in defence.
I would have us finishing between 6th-8th.
1. Collingwood
2. Hawthorn
3. Geelong
4. Carlton
5. Freo
6. Sydney
7. North Melbourne
8. West Coast

With West Coast to slide a bit. Feel a large part of their success has been the improvement of their senior players. If they can continue this form they will be top 4 but not sure if i can see it happening.
A fully fit Freo side to jump into 5th but won't be much of a threat imo their list has been hugely overrated here on bigfooty and in the media.

Yep, I'm biased. Come at me.

I love the way these threads work:

Step 1) Take the 2011 AFL Ladder
Step 2) You must make a change
Step 3) Decide to make a change between the top 8 and bottom 8
Step 4) Pick who you think is the best Bottom 8 Side (which is always 9th, thus North)
Step 5) Pick who you think is the worst Top 8 Side (which is always 8th, thus Essendon)
Step 6) Swap Them

This is always the case. Last year it was Carlton and North. People think that the Top 8 must change so just swap 8th out and 9th in.

I'm not saying the Top 8 won't change, but every year people just decide to swap 8th and 9th and change a bit of the order

The hate is strong in this one

My predictions:

- Everyone (who hasn't got it already) will get Foxtel because Channel 7's coverage will be just as bad as it currently is.
- Some more crappy rules will get brought in without trial, and everyone will complain. My guess is some sort of netball system where you are no longer allowed to run with the ball.
- Based on how many draws there were at the start of this year, rounds 1 and 2 will consist ONLY of drawn results.
- GWS Vs Gold Coast will end in a nil all draw (both teams will thrash Port though).

Cool story. Shame nobody in this thread has followed that formula.

The only real rule is:

"Place your team 3-4 spots higher than they finished this year".

How many people so far have backed their club to seriously decline?

(yes I'm guilty too)
