Yeah but if you were a f/s and been in what Luke has with the club and the club to turn their back on you, would you still be loyal to them after 2 years with another club?

I no if stay loyal to the club that took me. Think with north and Tom Carrun now.

Pykie, we only have to use the pick immediately after the highest bid right?

So if none of the clubs before our first pick nominate him, we can use our second?

Thats how i understand it. So if clubs before us think there are better or equal players available he may well slip through. Guess it depends on just how highly he's rated and what sort of risk a club maybe willing to take to not get an entirely happy player (if they try to call a bluff).

It may come down to whether clubs are drafting on a 'needs' or 'best available' basis.

I hope we are looking at Hartung with our second rounder, he doesn't really have any deficiencies other than his height. He is touch and go to be available at our pick.

After watching the western jets calder game last week I wouldn't mind James Scilily or Brett Bewley with a later pick. Both have a lot of potential and have a good balance between inside and outside game. Scilily is particularly damaging across half forward.

Greg Harding STFU! :stern look

FORMER Docker Greg Harding has accused clubs of concocting stories about Dayle Garlett's behaviour to undermine his draft prospects.
Garlett, 19, is considered one of the most talented players in this year’s draft pool, but concerns about his ability to conform to an AFL lifestyle continue to dog the dazzling ball-carrier.

if we are after another international rookie to keep Eric Wallace company I think we should go after this freak:

Mark Cisco
Club: Columbia University
D.O.B.: 17.7.91
Height: 207cm
Weight: 115kg
Potential ruckman from Columbia University with a basketball and American football background. An imposing athlete who has great appetite for the competition. Has a natural leap - (SVJ - 70cm, RVJ - 85cm) both impressive together with his absolute reach for a potential ruckman at 207cm. Has a double degree in political science and psychology.
Those jumps for a guy of his height and weight are incredible.

Plus he can help out with those mental lapses late in games and help diffuse any power struggles.

Sign him up now.

freak is the right word, what does an international rookie cost in regard to pay? I know it mean nothing as far as list numbers.

i'd say it would be pretty expensive for relocation ect. Most of these guys playing college ball would have good coin offers coming from the euro basketball leagues (I know Wallance did) so $$$ would have to be pretty good for them to consider it.

Brisbane, Richmond and Sydney are still interested, it is also unlikely that he will be a top 40 pick.

That is interesting, if he tests well at draft camp I'm tipping he will be firmly entrenched inside the 30, where he deserves to be.

Still hope the roos take him, we are in a position where we can have a high risk high reward 2nd round pick.
