Rowe's job security is not high but is certain to continue to get games as the season progresses.

Didn't start the season in the senior side but was recalled due to Casboult's underwhelming opening two games. Cas will be back but he did nothing on the weekend to warrant inclusion at Sam's expense.

Kreuzer's injury is timely for Rowe as it probably buys him a few more games in the next few weeks.

Sam is no star but he's a big, mature body and he provides a genuine contest. Is also a fairly reliable set shot for goal which no doubt will appeal. He has the added bonus of being able to push back into defense and even have a run in the ruck.

He likely won't be a big scorer but should make you money over the course of the season. I'd be bringing him in (I had him from the start of the season), if for nothing else than to give you a solid backup option should you need it. Certainly seems more likely than Daw (or any other rookie ruckman for that matter) to get a game at senior level - and then of course there's the added bonus of having dual position eligibility.

Hey guys, Kade Simpson just became available in my Dream Team Elite draft league and i'm pretty keen to pick him up. Love his averages over the last few years, but i'm a bit worried about his drop off so far this year. Is he playing a different role at all, struggling with an injury or anything or will he pick it back up to averge 90's for the rest of the year? Thanks in advance.

You know the saying - form is temporary, but class is permanent.

Simmo has not started the year well at all, but he's too good a footballer to not be able to work his way out of this slump at some stage.

Never shy away from picking up a gun at his lowest value. The only way is up.

Bluebaggers,

Just interested in Andrew Walker's role across half back. He was pretty prolific against Geelong but that was a very free flowing game with little accountability from either side.

If he can keep his current numbers up he looks like a great SuperCoach pick. To be honest I don't know why Carlton doesn't play him forward, though.

So will he stay there, and how confident can you be of his scoring?

Cheers.

G'day guys.

Was going to ask the same question as SJ above re Walker......thoughts? cheers

I think Yarran has answered that for everyone.

Walker will stay back which allows Yarran, Garlett and Betts to be the small forwards.

Walks tends to fly too much and doesn't keep his feet enough in the forward line which appeared to frustrate Malthouse, they will try and use him as the +1 done back when they can so would be a good selection IMO.

Gday guys, curious to know if Gibbs played the whole first half on Saturday in defence? Ill be shattered if he stays in Defence because i picked him up Round 2 of a draft league because he was going to play midfield. Where do u see him playing the next several weeks? If defence, i could attempt to trade him now before his stock/scores potentially drop. Thanks!!

Played at half back for the majority of the first half yesterday, which followed on from last week where he spent limited time through the midfield over in Perth.

No doubt he will return to the midfield throughout the season but he is not a permanent midfielder and will spend time in various roles across the park.

I certainly would not be trading him. You picked Bryce because he is considered to be one of the best defensive scorers in any fantasy game, and that remains the case regardless of whether he's in the guts or in another role.

He's out next week with a slight hamstring strain... apparently a 1 week injury.

If Waite comes in will it benefit sam rowe? (due to not copping the no. 1 defender) or will it be at the expense of sam rowe?

I have some qustions re: Robbo! I know he has been playing a forward tagging role - is this role going to change anytime soon? Or, do you believe he can score well (90+) playing this role?

Everyone is going Westy to Stevie J this week and I thought it'd be good to be different. Robbo is cheap and was part of my team last year. He did really well but of course was spending much more time in the midfield.

Interested to hear your thoughts on him! Thanks :)

Tough to say really. Depends who mick wants as second ruck. Hampson deserves to be dropped on form. Casboult may be due for another run too!

Kreuzer will be back in a few & I'm guessing he will play more fwd as warnock is playing great footy ATM

Haven't noticed too much game change from him to be honest rotating fwd through mid. Maybe a little down on possies. Should be back to last years scores.

PooMonkey heard anything about gibba at the physio?

Seconded.

Supercoach trades are a nightmare this week. Knowing whether to get rid of goodes or gibbs is doing my head in.

If Gibbs is out for 3 i'll upgrade him, any less and i'll keep.
Anyone know what he's looking like missing?

Scotland is no chance of being sub or even missing this week is he?

Thanks for the reply. But now with Heppell contributing to the backline carnage, I no longer have the luxury for such trade. :(

I am suddenly very concerned for the welfare of Bryce Gibbs. Will he play against the Saints on Monday?

Sorry to ask 2 questions in 1 week, but whats happening with Judd? is he playing more forward? generally playing the Dees in a big win is easy points for a player like Judd. Ive been offered a trade involving Judd in a draft league..
