I've reversed my trades so many times today, Shaw ...... Dixon. Less than an hour and a half to decide!!

Do you think both will finish in the top 6 defenders from here on in?

If so then Dixon is your man. He has the lower breakeven and there will be opportunity to bring Shaw in over the next couple of weeks (as def rookies moo) if he hits a purple patch and becomes an immediate "must have".

If Dixon knocks out a couple of hundreds playing ruck/CHF then he will be priced at $520K ... ship sailed.

I'm confident Shaw would finish top 6 if fit. Dixon is still a risk given this is is first strong year so far.
This choice will finish off my backline which is why I'm finding it so difficult.

Answer before tonights match. Dixon v Enright v Burgoyne v Scotland v Shaw. I was going for Shaw couple nights back, but i realised that i already have 3 Collingwood players in my team and i dont want 4 collingwood players in my team.

Burgoyne just over Enright for mine.

Possibly bringing Gawn in this week and need to make a decision.

A) Karnezis to Gawn, Rowe to the forward line bench in case Waite gets injured again at some stage.
B) Rowe to Gawn (lose MPP as well)
C) Trade else where/Not worth it.

A is the go I think. You will cover weaknessess & make cash but lose some flexibility.

Grimes to Scotland or Shaw?

Stevie J. or daisy +100k or robbie gray + 220k. figurenext 6-8 weeks averages of 105-110 for sj, 95-100 for daisy and 90-95 for gray

Stevie J is too expensive now I reckon, no point paying $550K for him when true premium mids can be bought for similar (or less). Thomas for mine - I'm not sure Gray will average 90-95 just yet.

Yarran to H.Shaw/Hurn/Houli or Duffman?

Shaw for mine, Duffield has been very disappointing this year. Hurn has yo-yo'd in previous years, Shaw is the true premium out of those.

SJ could even average 120+ before the bye, he price does seem a little steep.

I'm struggling with this one too. I like Stevie J but at 120k more than Daisy it's a tough call. Both averaged just over 96 last year.

sj had a concussion effected score of below 5 in there though. take that out and it's more than dt.

I think everyone knows SJ has better scoring potential, but is DT + 100k the better option?

for me it is, but each to their own

Couple that with an abysmal start to 2012 with scores of 30-50. I think he would have averaged 120+ in the second half of last year.

Boomer Harvey as a P.O.D versus the Stevie J or Daisy train which is already full according to every trade i am seeing on BF

Stevie J is kinda pricey to get now. For his price and a little extra, you can get a true midfield premo.
Maybe wait a week to see how Harvey does after being out for so long?

dont need a midfield person (have pendles, watson, jpk, cotchin, mmurphy, hannaberry, barlow, wines, omeara and Viney) GAJ comes in after RD13 hopefully then one more luxury later on - barlow to danger or swan maybe

need 2 fwds to complete my fwds

Wow... That is one heck of a midfield!
If all you need at the moment is a forward then I'd go Stevie J.
He will end up as a top 6 forward come season's end and may very well continue to go up in price if he continues to score like this week in week out.
