I doubt it. Scharenberg will own once he has a full preseason behind him and Hine has just procured a superior midfielder than Bontempelli with Treloar.
Hine would trade Treloar for bonti in a heartbeat, and even throw in a couple of first rounders (if in fact you had any left.......).

I'd personally have Brown, McCarthy and Merrett higher than the OP had them. There's a few players in there that are ranked more on perceived potential than actual performance eg Billings, Kelly, Aish (There's nothing wrong with rating on potential but why wouldn't you at least have the KP's ranked higher then?). I'd also like to find a spot for Hartung who I rate highly.

Sheed has been the third or at least fourth with ease best performed in this draft.

Where would hogan and Martin rank if they were available in this draft?

1: Hogan
2: McCarthy
3: Brown
4: Boyd

That's how I rank the KPF from this draft on exposed form

Swap the last 2. Everyone loves Brown, but he has never played as a number 1 target and probably never will. Martin is in the top 15-20, but you are going off potential and I hate that word!

Obligatory post asking why a Richmond player isn't on the list (Lennon).

Seriously good job. Agree with most. Would have Sheed higher but its been mentioned. Not sure on Taylor. Would have Billings at 4. But really good job and great read.
Thank you! Appreciate your kind words

Kolodjashnij is a gun...but would I pick him over McCarthy, Boyd, Bontempelli, Billings, Merrett...not sure I would. Think number 5-7 is about his range.
Fair call. I was just basing it on first two years. I think Boyd and McCarthy will overtake him in years to come

Then surely McCarthy is ahead at the very least, happy for Boyd to not be in (although personally he would make it), but McCarthy is arguably behind Bontempelli as the best player in the draft on performances. You don't put a season like last year unless you are VERY talented and that was as a 2nd year KPP basically.

You say you're basing it on the first 2 years, but also state "I rate Aish a little higher than Sheed at the moment. That's just my opinion though".

Clearly Sheed has been far better than Aish in these first 2 years, which is supposedly your criterion.

I suspect the only reason you rate Aish higher is that he's now at your club.

No doubt you started the thread for the same reasons.

Was being serious. No way the dogs would trade bonti for Langdon, aish and scharenberg. No way. Would anyone?
I would in a heartbeat. Scharenberg and Aish in particular are going to be seriously good players, and Langdon, whilst not having the ceiling of the previous two, will be a 200 game player.

In a game that requires 18 men per team on the field at any one time, give me 3 great players over one any day of the week. I love Bonts, reckon he will be a gun, but you'd be mad not to take that trade.

Really? Because to me it looks like they're neck and neck despite Aish having much of this season ruined by injuries. Do some research before accusing others of bias.
