It's not fair Melbourne had nothing for a retired Clark two months back his played no footy and has issues

Brown is best 22 who has had injuries but worth much more the Clark

How do we even know Clark will be able to play his been out of the game a long time in AFL standards

Not sure but that's all Melbourne have at the moment. Frawley will either be pick 3 (too high IMO for Brown) or an end of 1st rounder which, like their 2nd rounder, will be early 20's.

There's been rumours Jimmy Toumpas wants to head back to Adelaide. He'll warrant a 1st rounder from either the Crows (pick 9) or Port (late teens pick). Perhaps that could play a part.

I'm comfortable taking pick 9 for Brown, particularly if that means we could end up with something like:

Pick 8- Moore
Pick 9 (Brown)-Pickett
Pick 27- Garlett (not Carlton's Jeff or ex-Hawthorn's Dayle)
H- Clarke
?- O'Rourke

I'm all for getting the best deal for us, I'm just saying I don't believe Brown is best 22 and therefore he's certainly tradable.

This is the exact reason Melbourne should never get a priority pick. Passing up Ollie Wines was one of those WTF moments from that draft. If you get top picks and burn them, it's the clubs fault. Why give them a handout when they make these errors? If Toumpas leaves, it's just rubbing salt into the wound.
Imagine if Port ended up with Toumpas playing with Wines?

I don't believe for a minute that Harry wants to leave Melbourne.
Given his penchant for getting up on his soapbox, it doesn't make sense that he would leave the biggest AFL state, where he would have the biggest profile.

Unless he has decided he doesn't like the spotlight anymore, (he has pulled his head in this year admittedly) then I reckon he'll be at Melbourne next year.

No chance. He's probably worth a pick in the high teens - at best - add in Clarke and we've got a bloody good deal.

Nah can't agree with that. He's a gun and I'm not basing it on 2010 at all. If you actually watch him play you'll see how smart he is as a backman.

Fair enough. Point is Brown is too important to let go.

Frost, Keeffe (although not a fan), Brown, Reid, White (needs a big 2015) & Cloke should all be untouchable...KPP important to our future success.
