Nothing comes up on my screen, just an empty Twitter quote box...

what does it say? Mitch Robinson news, I'm guessing?

EDIT: Now that's weird...I couldn't see anything in your post, but it comes up when I quote you.

Good luck to him...he looks like an affable simpleton most of the time, might have a bit of the Fev Grog-lodyte thing going on...

Now that we've missed out on Robinson - I'm wondering if we hold true to recent form and recruit a mature midfielder with a rookie pick
Who's the next Ross?

We do have a fetish for Liston medalists, so that should mean Schroder is all but locked in. :D

Yeah. I, too, am disappointed we are not going through other clubs' trash.
You deserve a Spangher! Lucky the people running the club aren't as Simpkin-minded as you! :p

Make of this what you will...

HAWTHORN
Pick 31:
The Hawks are well stocked in almost every spot on the ground, so they'll have to wait and see what is still available at their first pick. Touk Miller is a small, in-and-under midfielder with some power and similar attributes to Sam Mitchell who could add some more midfield depth. Daniel McKenzie is another worth considering if still available given his excellent athleticism and awareness.

Around the mark: Dan Howe, Declan Hamilton, Damien Cavka

How about Nathan Drummond @ 49 ... all kinds of athletic ability, versatile, great story (if you dig beneath the surface).

Might we consider West Australian, Jermaine Miller-Lewis, for a rookie spot - injury issues, but real talent ... another great story.

Check 'em out.

[With Brad Hill, Cyril, Jed &, particularly, Shaun Burgoyne ... young indigenous players have so much support @ Hawthorn ... one of our real strengths.]

None of them are sliders. I hope we pick up whichever player starts drifting, rather than trying to reach. But who knows

Like him, but considering the no-show this year has been rather he spend a year as a 19 year old, playing as an over-ager and getting senior WAFL experience. Hoping that is what happens to him. :thumbsu:

So are they hoping someone else grabs him or is that Dixie putting the hard word on 17 other clubs
Seems like it. We've committed to taking him in the rookie draft.

Good move by the club. Frees up a spot on the list so we can use pick 50 and offers Grimmers a lifeline assuming he wants it.

How does the contract situation work. Did we have to terminate his contract or will it continue and be paid by whoever drafts him?

Stratton - Lake - Gibson
Birchall - Frawley - Hodge
I note missing from this back 6 is; Suckling, Spanghar, Duryea, Litherland, O'Rourke, and Schoenmakers. Good problem to have...

Interesting to note this group of six have between them: 12 premiership medallions, 3 Norm Smith medallions, 3 Best & Fairests, and 7 All-Australian jumpers....

Oh, and there's 3 premiership medallions in the depth

Hawks have an undersized and weak defence. When will you learn.
