I see there is no St Kilda there, presumably we've been promoted to our own elite competition because we're too good.

Look, not that I am trying to defend my "ladder" because it is indefensible but...

For me, Trengrove and Scully are going to be absolute jets. I think Watts will get there, he was too good a schoolboy not to succeed in the AFL. Add to that the sheer excitement of Jurrah and Davey and a few of the other indigenious boys....the ingedients are there. Probably a year behind the Roos at the moment but if they come together as they should I think their future is brilliant.

This is what I always find interesting when people are looking at Chris Judd:

Carlton analysis - 'Midfield now mature but Judd has faded'.

Melbourne analysis - 'the sheer excitement of Jurrah and Davey'

Judd - Born 8 Sept 1983
Davey - Born 10 June 1983

So even though Judd is 3 months younger he is 'gone' by 2014 but Davey remains an excitement machine ??

Brisbane have some very good young kids ATM better than the Saints easily, and we will only get better. Gold Coast will be interesting, could be number 1 or maybe top 8 but on the rise.

4 years ago sydney had no good youngsters, were old and would struggle after Hall, O'loughlin, Barry etc left.

They've all left and we're top of the ladder.

4 years ago Richmond were a young rebuilding team who with Deledio, Tambling, Coughlan, n some other "young guns" were destined for big things.

They are still bottom of the ladder.

Good luck for anyone to even get close to the 2014 ladder.

Whoa, it's just only a semi-serious thread detailing one guy's opinion on which teams have the best youth, everyone needs to chill a little.

Amazing how many people miss the point of the thread. You're not supposed to be predicting the 2014 ladder with any accuracy, dimwits, it's basically your opinion on which clubs are on the up and on the decline over the next 4 years. Geez louise.

Unlike the other Sydney posters sofar i'd like to thank you for predicting Sydney to finish so low. It seems whenever that happens we make finals.

In all seriousness it isnt a bad list, however chances of even one of these ladder positions being right is pretty slim :p
